Godspeed is one of my favorite villains from all of DC Comics, but I feel like this episode tried to waste all of his potential. I hope that the writers find a way to make Godspeed the main villain for a season and try to redeem their failure. Also can I just point out how amazing Tom Cavanagh's acting as Thawne was this episode and the phenomenal job Danielle Panabaker did directing this episode since it was her first time directing.

This isn’t on the poll, but I wouldn’t mind seeing Godspeed as the main villain for half a season than have the other half with Red Death (the villain they name dropped when Barry and Iris went into Nora and Grace’s minds). It is obvious the writers have a problem stretching one villain out for 22-23 episodes even with villain of the week format. A stronger story could be crafted if we had two big bads in a season and we had two big arcs being told. No matter how good the writers make Godspeed I think we will run into the same problems of stretching him out for a whole season as we did for this season. Give Godspeed a good 10-11 episode arc and then give Red Death a good 10-11 episode arc and I think we could have a much stronger sixth season for Flash.

As what was said in the reaction to the GODSPEED episode by Married2thereal the timeline could change when Nora fixes things and they didn’t make the Godspeed suit for just one episode so expect more!

Seriously we need Detective Calvin in here....Reverse Flash SMIRKED when Nora was being dragged away pleading for his help....it was brief but it was there, self satisfaction was all over that smug face

Yeah this episode was hyped so much that it didnt reach expectations, but it was still a very good episode. But Nora shouldn't have won a battle against him that easily. That was the only thing that kinda "ruined" it.

I liked him but I wish the lightning was gold. The suit was cool but a white suit with white lightning was a bit much. I think gold lightning would've look cool especially since he had the gold bits on his suit

I wanted more, but since he's just captured (not killed) there's always that possibility

The suit was pretty awesome and his look was cool. I've liked that the series has tried to say away from speedster villains so I thought that he was used the right amount (rather than introducing yet another big bad for the series this late in the season) and I appreciate that they left the door open for him to come back.

Is suite was really cool. The white with the gold and the way he looked like zoom. He was like Zoom, mixed with Barry’s gold, mixed with Savitar, with the body of the Red Death. But I do agree with u guys where he should’ve had a bigger part in the show and not just a freak of the week in a Flash Forckwards (forwards and backwards combined). But maybe when the flash show is over they’ll do a show about Nora in the future (like what we think will happen with arrow) they’ll make him a recurring villain in that. Side note in the video message from Barry there was a red light that flashed at him. Do u think that was the red death

What’s most annoying is that the episode was titled Godspeed, but Godspeed was just on the backfoot of the episode taking an important role in the flash back to the future, Godspeed looked great except the head which looked CGI and a little wrong for me, but my theory is that Godspeed will be responsible for why little cicada managed to travel back in time, because they would never waste a comic character even if they completely redid the origin story

Didn’t like it because they turned a super interesting character with relatable motivations into a power junkie with no personality. August was a cop friend of Barry who’s brother was killed and during a speed force storm he got powers then became consumed by them. He thought that he could stop crime and avenge his brother. He got faster by killing speedsters and stealing speed to be more powerful to stop crime for good. In this he’s just a freak of the weak. I mean the show already did steal his design and give it to zoom anyway lol

I loved having Godspeed in the episode, but he didn't live up to his name imo. He can't be a God of speed if he can't catch a rookie speedster. Plus I didn't like the idea of him using V9 to gain more speed instead of stealing them from other speedsters.

Godspeed has so much potential as a character. He’s basically a speedster version of Red Hood. A character like that has the potential to elevate the show and they squandered it. I enjoyed the Nora stuff with her friend and Thawne, but Godspeed was disappointing.

Also when Thawne was teaching Nora to phase he used the exact same dialogue from Season 1 when he was teaching Barry to phase which is how Barry figured out he was a Reverse Flash.

I’ll say I need more, even though I was ultimately disappointed. I blame a certain few reaction channels (whom I won’t call out by name) for not only spoiling that Godspeed was coming, but also hyping him up so much. My expectations were set too high. In reality, the suit looked good, but the character’s motivation didn’t do it for me, and even if he was to come back later I feel like it would take a lot to get me excited again.

I loved the suit and thought BD Wong sounded great. I’m slightly disappointed that he was just another V9 junkie, but I definitely feel like he’ll come back. As a small side note I kinda feel like he should have had more of a runners body, but I’m not complaining.

I really was hoping for way more from a very complex character from the comics that had a very tight bond with Barry. Just seemed like a “we need a speedster” thing with out more thought put into the character.

When I saw Godspeed would be in this episode after seeing leaked behind the scenes photos I was super hyped for it but I was kinda disappointed by how little we got I would hope we get more next season because I thought he looked awesome and BD Wong did a great job as his voice

In my heart of hearts I’m hoping it’s being setup for future use. The parallels of the episode lead me to believe they want to make him Nora’s Reverse Flash. Killing her one person she had in front of her. Hopefully we get more of him in the future, for the outfit and lightning effects alone.

he should have showed up at the end of the season as a badass speedster like zoom and have Nora be genuinely scared because he's so fast she can't take him on. then the first episode of next season could have been the pilot style episode for Nora they did this episode. his suit was great looking, just wish his eyes were glowing like how they did reverse flash's

As a one-off villian, it wasnt the best, by far. But if it is an origin story/set up of next seasons villian, then I am satisfied knowing there is backstory to the villian that we will know and are already introduced to on screen. Makes for deeper charcacter arcs and developments.

I hope he comes back because it seems like a waste of a character otherwise

I enjoyed Godspeed. And it’s obvious he will be back at some point. Or another version of Godspeed will show up. You don’t waste money on making a custom (which they did) if you only plan on him just being a one off.
