Yes, the plan will work until Kara has to reveal the secret to her at the end of the season to stop an oncoming threat. I think at the point J'onn will restore everyone's memories. Or at least I hope their memories get restored that is.

I say no, only under the assumption that Haley doesn't die before finding out. And there's one very simple reason why..... GLASSES ALONE ARE NOT A GOOD DISGUISE, if she really want's to remain hidden, Kara should wear a dyed wig in her day job, like Batwoman does on her costume, as, in the Batwoman scenario, people will be looking for someone with long bright red hair, as opposed to someone with short dark red hair, concurrently, if Kara was to wear a brunette wig as Kara, and remain blonde for Supergirl, people would look for someone with blonde hair, rather than a brunette.

I think it’ll work for a bit but then the Haley will find out. Either a slip from someone who still knows Kara’s identity’s or she will figure out how everyone’s memory has been erased. Also was I the only one who secretly wanted Haley to die, being killed by a rouge alien is easier to explain.
