An agile, technologically aware (IIRC this was a colony, not their planet of origin), highly intelligent being, against a fat teddy bear with a sharpened stick? The Ewok wouldn't stand a chance. They wouldn't have had a chance in RotJ if Lucas hadn't given the Stormtroopers paper armor, poor weaponry and single digit IQs (I seem to recall SW:Rebels bringing up these points).

Honestly, if we are supposed to go by what could be seen in the movie without nostalgia goggles, the ewoks are only good at setting up traps. And that was on unsuspecting enemies on home ground. Other than that, they have shown no fighting prowess what so ever. The Lurmen on the other hand are smart enough for space travel. And skilled and agile enough to take down the birds, that had killed a whole squad of clones.

You would think it would be the other way around. Lurmen look like way better climbers than Ewok.

Ewoks may have defeated Storm Troopers, but Lurmen took out Battle Droids, and I'm of the opinion that the Droids are better fighters.

The Lurmen have speed, agility and higher intelligence. Just less experience in combat, but that can be made up for after some practice.

The Ewoks honestly seem pretty shit at fighting itself TBH. I'm always reminded of that one idiot who tries to use a slingshot and ends up cracking his own skull open when it swings around and hits him in the face. They're good at setting traps and using the Endor forest specifically against their enemies, so if the fight was happening on the Ewok's home turf, they'd probably win. But in a regular open fight on neutral territory, I actually think the Lurmen would win, if they weren't held back by their ideology pacifism. They're very mobile, and seem to be surprisingly good at martial arts too.

Depends on the surrounding environment. On Endor the lurmen would be easily overcome due to tree cover. But in the open fields of the lurmen planet. The ewoks would lose there advantage

If it was one on one the lurman would probably win, seeing as how fast they subdued those beasts.

I'm going with lurmen. They got speed over the ewoks.
