Finally finished Code Geass. My personal opinion being that the first season is better since it focus more on character while season 2 has a lot of politics. And several things happens. Really think season 2 could have use a shorter time. It also never match the dirtiness of that Euphi moment. There's always a certain irony or poetic justice to things rather it just being life.

Big aaron fan, but he be reaching with his complaints on this show a lot of the time. Like i think TONS of shows leave on cliffhangers, like ummm Game of Thrones for instance. Also, no crap the geass would have no effect if u were dying from a terminal illness. and watchya mean there wont be enough plot material for next season?? So random. Just a little too much unnecessary questioning imo. But will say great reaction!

how Eric says "i dont know what is going to happen in season 2 at all" is another thing that makes the series so great when you watch it the first time you cant predict the outcome as in other cases your know exactly who is going to win each battle etc. beginning on next episode will be an interesting one xD

Yes the Nightmare Nina was piloting belonged to Lady Marianne and was donated to Ashford Academy. The Ashfords were once high ranking nobles with deep connections to the royal family and Lady Marianne, so they once had the pull to get something like that. Also Collen and the inner circle of the BK knew Zero wasn't Japanese.

Fun fact: Code Geass WASN’T actually BASED on any manga. This is a completely original story from the animation studio. Which MAY explain why it often feels like they’re making stuff up as they go. 8P

you will have to wait longer to know the answers to some major.. questions, like the origins of Geass, what happened to Marianne or more C2 backstory, all of them will be answered ewentually in 2nd season tho. Also its very good, in my opinion s2>s1 so dont worry.

Just to note, Code Geass is the rare instance where the anime predates the manga. CG's manga is an adaptation of the anime but without knightmares

Cornelia forgot what she said to lelouch but she remembered who he was. Probably just didn't think it nessecary to tell Suzaku since she didn't know he was friends with lelouch. Easier to say "Dude zero went that way go get him!"
