I think Marvel would have to recast if they do anything else with the daredevil character, I think its down to the contract they signed with Netflix.

2018-12-04 18:42:28 +0000 UTCAlthough Netflix stated that the character will live on, I sincerely hope Disney doesn't recast Daredevil as someone else. Charlie Cox OWNS this role. No one else can do it better than him right now.

I'm pretty sure that's why all the show cancellations are happening so close together. Plans are in motion to get the shows moved over to one of their services. We'll be hearing the Jessica Jones and Punisher cancellations soon enough I'm sure. But they absolutely need to keep the exact same cast for the shows because no one else can be Dare Devil or The Kingpin now or any of the others either.

2018-12-03 15:53:17 +0000 UTCI'm so pissed it got canceled but it might go to Disney streaming service but I don't think it will be the same daredevil. It will be really different like pg 13 different. It wont be anything what Netflix was allowed to do with the show i'm sad. Especially because i was watching an interview with Charlie Cox answering twitter questions about season 3 around the time Iron Fist and Luke Cage got cancelled and all he was seeing was people hoping that daredevil was safe. He said "No I wont let them cancel daredevil" It's just sad now seeing it Fuck but hopefully everything will work out good in the end.
