Star Wars Resistance 1x8 Poll!

If it were left to me, it would be Anakin/Darth Vader. In comics and movies/shows, Han and Hera struggled to keep up with Vader's piloting skill, and even without the force, he shows great piloting attributes/decision-making as a tactician. Han shows his ingenuity through the Falcon. Hera can fly any ship like a seasoned ace. Poe is accurate and efficient in his tight maneuvering. I chose Hera as a rounded off ace pilot, but you know..... my pick is The Chosen One! ;)

I think this is 50/50 between Han and Hera, but I think Hera was smarter than Han as a pilot.

Im Picking Hera cause think be most interesting to watch as a teen or young pod racer. But I think its clear Anakin would beat them all. No offense to Han Solo or Poe Dameron.

Hera by a mile. Han had the ship, not the skills. Hera was a magical being while piloting a craft, any craft. Solo is the "legend and nostalgia" pick. Hera is the right answer, at least until we learn more about Yeager and Poe.

I think Han would be the best pilot. He shows that he is a risk taker in everything he did, up to the day of his death. He's got the Kessel Run record to boot. But I would have put Anakin into the poll....game over.

Hera vs Poe: Rebels Recon 4.5 pretty solidly established that Hera > Poe. (Mostly, it's her demonstrated ability to pilot a transport through maneuvers like it was a fighter puts her over Poe in piloting skills overall). Hera Vs. Han: An interesting mixup as they both pilot transports with EXTREME skill and precision. Han pulls really impressive stunts, but I also think that some degree of his talent lies with the Falcon specifically because of how well he knows his ship and EXACTLY what she's capable of. We've seen him in the Dragon Void Run in Han Solo #1-5 specifically in a racing capacity, but that comic also shows why I don't think he'd win. Han's known for talking a big game, having the skills, but very frequently coming up just short. There are almost always circumstantial conditions that prevent him from securing the victory he's looking for, so in a straight up race I don't see the odds being in his favor directly or because of extenuating circumstances. For me, this puts the race between Yeager & Hera. Hera Vs. Yeager: Yeager's shown as being a better racer, whereas Hera's a better pilot. In 1x8 we also learn that Yeager isn't big on risks, and also got his experience as a pilot back on Jakku before he turned to racing. Hera takes lots of things that would be risks for most any pilot, but she's basically always had the skill needed to back them up – like making a hyperspace jump through an Imperial construction module's hangar bay in "Kindred" (Rebels 4x7). So I think that in her prime, Hera unquestionably has the biggest edge on everyone when it comes to experience, piloting skill, and even fortune. I just can't realistically see any of the other three besting her in a straight up race – especially if they're using other ships designed to be Racers, as she's got a wider range of experience and proven skill with different ships.

I picture Solo as a good pilot more than a good racer. Racing seems more lie specialty.

I think Hera is the best, as she shows not just her skill with her own ship but adaptability - able to go from one ship to another and still show herself as a great pilot.

Han Solo all day, the feats he does with just that freighter are great
