Doctor Who 6x8 Reaction Early Access!

We knew this while these episodes were coming out so I don't think it's be wrong to tell them the doctor can't naturally regenerate anyone and Matt Smith is the last of the doctors regenerations. Obviously there's problems with telling them so Aaron or Lono can choose whether or not to tell them.

I never noticed River's comment about getting younger over the years. How could she do that? Also, would it have hurt Moffat to include Mel in one episode last season and two (including this one) in this season. Would have made this a lot less choppy. Other than that I really enjoyed this episode.

This is the only episode this whole season that I dislike. Honestly, I pretend it doesn’t exist. My head canon makes way more sense if I do that. This is where Moffat lost me. I wish he went in the direction of the Doctor looking for Melody solo and finding her when she was a child. That way by the time she grows up, she is aware of the Doctor. The whole Mel’s plot line is so convoluted.

I understood River's learning how to pilot the TARDIS to mean the TARDIS taught her through a telepathic link, something akin to how Idris (aka Sexy aka The Doctor's wife) was able to speak to Rory.

The first 10 minutes of that episode are just great(the rest is fine) I love the interplay between River and the doctor when she's full psycho. But also I really feel something happened that forced them to rush them many things both in this episode(which felt it should be a 2 parter) and the rest of the season. Maybe Mofffat miscounted how much space he needed to complete his arc with River and suddenly had to rush?

I need Aron to say something about Steven Moffat, I don't know if we know that after David left, the showrunner was different. They feel that the show is different, but they don't really know why ... They keep talking about Sherlock and ... yeah, guys ... you're right, but you have no idea. Maybe they talked about it in some discussion that I do not remember haha
