I'd take action literally just because i want the show to do Negan right. It might not make the most sense, story-wise, but I want to see more well written Negan, regardless.

I mean for the show they obviously won’t let him starve since he’s One of the main characters. In reality letting him starve would probably be more realistic since his actions have got him to where he is so if he wants to not eat then let him die naturally so everyone can be happy.

Let him starve himself, keep the food in his cell, and when he's thin and weak looking enough, take a picture, and give it to the Saviors to kill the image they have of him in their heads. That'd kill their "hope" quicker than any bullet

I would let him try to starve himself. I would still leave food for him and trust that he would eventually eat. It would take a pretty long time to starve yourself and I would trust he would give in before he died.

I would let him starve. Only a handful of trusted Alexandrians are allowed down to Negan's cell. They could let him die and no one else need ever even know until much later. By the time anyone needed to know he was dead, the communities would be more established and thriving anyway so his death would have little impact by then. Everyone's a winner... Except Negan.
