He knew Calvin was outed early and any attempt at trying to help Calvin would cast suspicion, so he played it out as best as possible and aroused no suspicion only to fuck them over right at the end....Hats off Mr Farley, you bossed this! :)

I do feel a little bad for Calvin being outed so early, and kind of agree that rick's explanation at the beginning did make it seem like the sabotage instantly failed the mission, however, had Calvin read the card, it states that there is a way for it to be circumvented, so really he has no one to blame but himself for not paying attention. Great game, Shane was definitely the star of this one for me.
