2018-07-30 11:30:55 +0000 UTCNo what Melanie was saying is that the real world is actually several days behind the simulated world, which mean the world is simulating the future. Which is why everyone kills themselves. The more people who die as a result of the Veritas, which does not exist in reality, the more the program will diverge and the less accurate the prediction will be. Unfortunately, as the next episode will show, they already got as far as they needed to, and the simulation diverged too late.
