I think William is human, it would feel kind of cheap to reveal him as a host at this point. I think Ford's game is to make him truly suffer, and maybe making him lose his mind and grasp of what is real is part of that. #FireBi

BTW the scanner they use that scans a hosts neck only checks to see if they have an explosive implant. If you don’t have an implant it doesn’t mean you’re not a host.

Yes this would have all been very very very convenient for Ford, but if he has been a Ford puppet for so long, would he have ever suggested to collect data on the guests?? I understand that is how he got Delos to agree to invest, but would Ford have ever been oke with that or would he have programmed an other solution, if indeed William was his puppet??

I find it curious how he keeps touching his arm where host have some sort of usb connector, that leads me to believe he is a host. On the other hand he is so out of place in the normal world and it is clear he found his true self in the park, it would be very conceivable for him to start identifying as a host. Or even more probable that he has become paranoid enough to believe Ford made him into a host.

Well what a fantastic episode, the complete opposite to last week's episode! I will say I am sad to see Teddy go mainly because I do love me some James Marsden but I do not feel one bit of sympathy for Dolores because if she'd just left Teddy alone and not changed him into her own personal killing machine he would still be alive but this now answeres the question of how Teddy winds up in the water. Now how about all the other hosts in the water alongside Teddy? I feel that and Hale's plan go together there.

I want him to be Human but I’ll choose Host because it becomes very convenient that William appeared from low class nowhere to move in on Delos’ Daughter and muscle out the brother JUST in time to save the park from closing and influence the Mob Boss like CEO Delos himself into being so invested in the park.

I didn’t feel that way about this episode at all. Did we ever see or hear anything to suggest William wasn’t kind to his wife (honest question, because if so I don’t recall)? I feel like even back in season 1 before the Man in Black was revealed to be William, it was established that MiB was a decent person in the real world, and just became a monster when he went to the park. As for Emily being invited explicitly to witness her mother’s outburst, that seems like quite a stretch to me. Of all the words I’d use to describe William/MiB, manipulative honestly isn’t one of them. He’s been pretty upfront about when he’s just using someone to serve a purpose, but mostly he’s an “I’ll-do-it-myself” kind of guy. That’s my take on the matter at least.

Did you guys notice that they wanted us to think William was actually kind to his wife? Remember when she was yelling at him and he was ok with it? But do you also remember he invited Emily to their house that night, so that she could witness that very moment? He had that planned all along, which shows how manipulative of a man he was. That would make sure his daughter and other people think he wasn't the villain, because Emily would be the one to admit Juliet into the clinic, this time in a more forceful fashion. I also believe that William had been doing what is called "gaslighting", which consists of someone manipulating other person by distorting or omitting information so that they second-guess themselves, thinking that they've slowly lost their mind.

I’m pretty sure he’s human and just thinking like “how could I have done this” in regards to all the terrible things he’s done... and especially with killing his daughter.he was conflicted about her being a host or not so I’m sure he’s conflicted over if he’s real or not. Similar to pinching oneself to see if you’re awake or dreaming.

It would be more interesting if he is still human, but hoping to be a host. Being a host and able to be with Dolores is what he wanted all along.

He is human. If only because it fits into the theme I have been seeing for William and Dolores this season of a decent into madness. William no longer sure what is real and fake. And Dolores losing everyone one by one because of who she “needs to be” and her crusade to the valley beyond.

He passed to many test not to be human(Maeve, nation, scanner) and the game is Ford using his paranoia to make him go crazy.

I think he is human, and was checking his arm because he was hoping he was a host as that would mean he could blame someone or something else for killing his daughter. I’m sure he always thought to check if he was a host but that was the first time he actually wanted to be one.
