I think she was telling the truth. I think a worse fate in his eyes is living the remainder of his life in the "real world" outside of this fantasy he's been trying to make a reality. Looking at his life, dealing with the suicide of his wife, his inadequacies as a father, and not dying in some blaze of glory would be his ultimate personal hell.

I think she was telling them the truth, but you gotta think, what is torturous to William? Probably being forced out of the only place he feels like he has the most control. I'm very curious what it's gonna be like when he and Dolores meet up again; bringing his daughter face to face with the woman that pretty much made her dad the way that he is?

I think Old Man William is a host like the James Delos experiment and he's extremely close to being stable. Maybe her daughter's line about him suffering was to help him achieve true consciousness.

I think she wants to be the one to punish him, but that punishment won’t be as bad as what the Ghost Nation had planned. (I’m kinda surprised they let her take him).

She said she wanted to reconcile so I’m taking her at her word. As to why ake didn’t get taken I think the reason was because he was ghost nation and they might have free reign over the Park

I think she wants him to remind HIM of the pain he costs and/in the death of her Mother-Julliet. I dont hope Bill is a host, storywise it would not add any stakes , it would weakend it. Also I cried this episode.. dammit westworld!

I think her idea of torture is getting him out of the park before he can finish the game at this critical point, which would truly be torture for William.

I think she told the truth but the suffering will be good for him. Like he needs to suffer physical pain to be healed or emotional pain to be mentally healed.
