They put too much in to growing that character to not have a way to bring him back. I try and think of "comic rules" taking effect with these shows. So, you really never what's going to happen and stick or not.

I would be more impressed if they didn't bring him back, as it would reaffirm the stakes of the series

I think they'll somehow defeat Devoe without destroying Ralph's body, but also leaving a little piece of Devoe in Ralph's mind.

I really hope I'm wrong because Ralph has been my favorite part of this season, but I voted no because it felt like a send-off episode for him. He had that emotional scene with Barry and had his hero moment, and they showed Barry mourning his loss and emptying his office. It felt a bit final to me.

I think they all the bus metas will, maybe whatever the enlightenment is is used to give all the metas their bodies back.

The device DeVow has at the end looks like some kind of Satellite. Maybe a satellite that will fire dark matter at the planet giving Meta powers to people over the entire planet. Hence “The Enlightenment” and the death of team flash who is the only people fighting Metas on Earth 1.

It just seems unlikely this will be a permanent death to me. Yes, it would be shocking and developing Ralph before killing him off as more of impact on viewers, but having Ralph intentionally being saved for last and having DeVoe take him with 4 or 5 episodes left of the season feel signs the writers will bring Ralph back after they defeat Thinker.

I hope he does. He was a great addition to Team Flash and I've liked him since he was introduced. I have to say Ralph being taken over by The Thinker hit me harder than anything that's ever happened in the Arrowverse. Especially because of the emotional scene he had with Barry, telling him the team is his and that he won't let DeVoe have them. Man, that sucked.

I dont think he necessarily needs to take bodies anymore after taking the metas powers that can take powers away. Im not sure but probably took ralphs body anyways just to get rid of him as a problem

I really hope so to be honest. Ralph was really growing on me as a character and tbh i havent been so pissed about a character death in the flash since it came out. However since they killed him off with so many episodes left its possible they will bring him back

I think Dafoe has too many powers more then even his mind can really control. As far as Stretch goes I think his time with Team Flash pretty much told us hed likely help out but be on his own. To be able to make his own choices.

Yes because they didn’t just introduce a character purposely wrote to make us like him and create a suit for him for no reason. I think seeing as he will probably be the last physical body he will take over Ralph might still be in there

I hope that he comes back but i could see him not, i liked ralph this season and i hope that he comes back, maybe they could still save him since the body is still active but wishful thinking

As much as I hate that Ralph got taken, that scene of him fighting everyone was badass.

Very unlikely but maybe Barry will go back to the past and stop DaVoe from ever becoming The Thinker.

I don't think so. But technically we still have two busmeta's out there (Fallout and Weeper), so I hope they can do something with that to save Ralph

I really doubt that they just get rid of Ralph like that after all that development! They probably gave him all the development so that when he "died" the audience would care enough of the bus metas to want them back. Because if we didn't know Ralph we wouldn't care as much for the people on the bus.

Yes I think because it's Ralph's body and all the character building they did I think after DaVoe is defeated he'll be back. Plus if I was Barry I would of killed DeVoe in the school when he admitted he was the thinker

I feel that they will somehow rescue his consciousness and save him, as he might fight devoe from within with the other metas, but then that could also be them sacrificing themselves to kill him from within. I hope he is rescued.

Does anyone else feel like there were some really strange choices this episode? Like to account for the fact that the characters can’t keep up logically with the thinker, the writers have decided that they will just make our cast make stupidly emotional decisions to compensate. Like Wells making the decision to up the black matter addiction just because he feels inadequate reminds me a lot of the Aang scene from Avatar, and I didn’t like it there either.

I really hope so, at first I found him annoying. Then that last episide... tears of sadness. Thats good writing, good acting and overall great exucution!

They most likely will bring him back, They have put a lot of focus on him this season and I don't think they will get rid of him. But, depending on how they save him, it may cheapen the emotions of the loss

I'm pretty sure we will lose Ralph's body when DeVoe takes the last bus meta's body, the one that absorbed and released radiation that (last mentioned) ARGUS is holding. It will most likey be DeVoe's endgame with the dark matter he collected, to release it on everyone in the city (enlightenment.)

I think Ralph might but ... the scene where DeVoe took him didn't make me sad, it made me mad at Barry and Company. One wonders if that's really what they were going for. And I am not an arsonist; I have 27 acquittals that prove it.
