I dont think Cisco will leave but if he does they will try and replace him in a way but no one can replace Cisco

I think he will want to go so he can see Gypsy more but knows he can’t leave team flash, the crucial member he is and his friends

I could see them doing what they did with Harry. Where he leaves at the end of the season, is gone for the six month gap in between seasons and then coming back in season 5 to help out and such.

I feel like the show wants us to see Cisco less as the comic relief/man at the keyboard he was in season one, and more as his own superhero. Which would be great, but we all know how the flash writers treat supers besides Barry (kid flash, Jesse quick, ext)

if he does “leave” if will probably be in the time gap we usually see between seasons, so he can “come back”in the first few episodes. otherwise I don’t think (and i really hope not) that he will leave

I could see him taking more of a consulting role on team flash and spending less time in the field. He’s already doing that anyway, so this could provide an explanation for it going forward.

I do think he will for at least a season the reason why they gave him an out could be because maybe the actor wants to explore more things besides the flash. He has been on the show since day 1 I'm surprised we haven't had really any main casts leave yet. If he doesn't leave the show I could see him be in less episodes like Thea in arrow.

I think he's too integral to the brand of the show tbh. Same reason that, even when they kill him off, they bring back some form of Harrison Wells every season

I don’t think so, no. But more important: Flashtime, and the getaway car. Let’s be honest, if he can spend hours and hours (in relative time) doing all kinds of stuff in the fraction of a second that it takes for a nuclear explosion to expand past a small container, then he should have been able to run Null to prison, go to the grocery store, pick up supplies, make a pizza, cook it with his lightning, eat it, take a nap, drink some coffee to wake up, jog a couple laps around the equator, solve a few crimes, and still be back in time to save that guy from the car.

Love Flash but I've been getting confused with Cisco's role lately. It seems like he suits up half the time the other half doesnt for some reason. And it seems like when he doesnt they use his vibe powers as a sort of get out of jail free card, where someone is in trouble and they tell Cisco to quickly breach there and save them, maybe someone can explain this to me.

I kinda hope they follow Arrow with shaking the team up. There's too many characters and they're poorly utilizing what they have already.

Nah Cisco is a fan favorite I doubt he would leave for good. Maybe for a few episodes or so but it'll tie into something else. Like maybe there is another character we're going to be introduced to that will help fight off divoe.

I feel like it is possible with the other characters (especially Ralph) being more comical. But I hope not Cisco is great

I don't think he'll be leaving, he can still do the job and be based on Earth 1. There could be episodes where he's not around because he is off on Earth 47 or something but still appears in most of the episodes.

It feels like they aren't really giving his character a choice. He misses his girlfriend, who with the help of her dad, had little time to spare to begin with. Now that her dad is gone, she'll have even less time and even though she's more than capable, it'll be more dangerous if she doesn't have back up. Maybe it'll just be a gone for hiatus thing. I'll be really mad if he leaves for good. I love Cisco.

If so I think it could be one of those just for the summer things than when they back next year he has to come back for the team. Though honestly I think a lot of team flash is underutilized.

I wouldnt be surprised if he did. Also, fun fact: flash gideon is voiced by morena baccarin from deadpool, firefly and gotham, which is probably why she didnt voice the other gideon because she's a series regular on gotham and on deadpool she plays deadpool's girlfriend

I don't think so. Team Flash might branch out to other Earths to battle a foe over several earths. Zoom had that threat kinda, but this would be a good chance to tie in Supergirl and maybe Black Lightning

I don’t think he’ll permanently leave team flash. I think if he does leave, it will be in the finale and he’ll be back in the first episode next season saying that he and Gypsy broke up.
