Interesting. I knew he couldn't heal, but I didn't know that it was because there was only one soul. I guess i just never picked up the exact details. Makes sense though, obviously.

If Wrath could regenerate on top of everything else he could do I’m fairly sure Father would win. It took all that just wound him once. I don’t think they could actually kill him multiple times like they do his other siblings. Greed got one solid hit on him, took out his eye, and Wrath is suffering from the wound Captain Bear dealt him last episode and in this one Wrath turned it around and was beating on Greed before he tackled him through the wall.

The philosopher stone injected into subject 12 was created with the souls of wrath extracted from Father. Bradley admitted to Mustang that thousands of souls battled for dominance and only the most wrathful one survived, he doesn't know if it's his or one from the stone. His stone is basically gone, its why he can age but can't heal since he doesn't have other souls powering his immortality. He got the body as a part of the process as he tried to survive, and its superhuman but it doesn't function the same way as the other homunculi. The only other homunculus known to be originally human is Greed, but then again losing souls and power isn't Greed's character.

This episode is the reason why Ling is my favorite character in the whole story! He was introduced as a sort of comic relief way back, and yet his arc is the most compelling to me!

Wrath has one soul. All other hommunculi have an entire philosopher stones worth of souls. That is why Wrath does not heal and everyone else does.

Wrath stone burnout until there was only one soul left when he was infused with it. Meaning he is already on his last life. That's why he gets old and can be wounded while the other homunculus a stone full of souls can't heal and don't age.

Wrath has ONE soul in his stone. He cannot regenerate. It is the reason he is the only one that can age. All the training and education not only makes him a worthy furer, it guarantees his survival on the battlefield without regenerating. All to pass him off as human.

Wrath isn't able to heal because it was shown that when he was injected with the philosophers stone, he had to resist the souls inside resulting in the stone being drained to only his soul. Ling on the other hand, gave himself willingly to greed and didnt resist so that he could gain his goal of immortality

The sacrifices all needed to have seen the truth, performing or attempting human transportation is just one guaranteed way to see the truth
