Oh sad, they are back to watching the cut, censored version of the show again.

And Finally I think Aslaug FOR SURE needed to die otherwise Lagertha would ahve to worry about Aslaug trying to to plot to kill her especially how she was so easly able to manipulate Ivar although seems like Ubbe is already mad wanting revenge so idk lol and once Ivar finds out he is also going to for sure want vengeance for his mommy since like Eric said he was by far the closest to her from what we saw

MustacheKash

Also I think he knew/expectd the men he brought with him to be killed be Ecbert but instead of waiting for that turned it into father son bonding time lol also maybe he realized if I were to show up with more men with me they will think we are trying to raid them instead of me coming to talk and soldiers would have killed them all and would not have had the chance to talk to Ecbert this way he knew 100% he could get in and caryy out his plan

We have known Ragnar has wanted to die/kill himelf since he has come back and he says this episode to Ecbert turn me over and then once I die my sons will come take revenge and rip all your throats out. So pretty sure his plan is for other fat king to kill him and Ivar since is a cripple they see him as a weakling that they can send back home therefore Ivar being the messenger to tel other brothers hey they just killed our dad we need to go back and kill all the englishmen

Bretwalda means high king and that is kind of how Egbert views it, Aelle is a subject king of his as he made clear at his coronation as king of Marcia. Aelle is obviously not happy with this and will rebel at the first opportunity so his destruction as ideal for Egbert who can then take over as direct ruler rather than overlord. It is the same relationship Ragnar and Borg had with Horik as Jarls to a king, albeit in a more structured way.

Sorry guys, I couldn't hold myself so I watched episode 15 but now my punishment is that it's a whole week until the youtube discussion comes out (so this is me begging you to upload that too) *CANT STOP ´CRYING*

King Egbert hasnt united the whole of England, only the smaller kingdoms in the south and mercia. This time was known as a heptarchy as England was made up of seven small kingdoms.

Paul Richardson

Northumbria is partly in Scotland but most of it is in Northern England

Remember, Ragnar's motivation is to get final revenge for the settlement, it's all he wanted after he came back from the 10 year exile... he couldn't gather his own army, not even his sons... It's debatable whether he's going for Plan B or always intended to raid with weak people, but ALL is still serving the original motivation, whether the plan changed or not... if all plays out and goes as he foresees it, the end goals and results will be the same.

Can't wait for their reactions to season 5.

Ekorren
