If there's one character i never liked in LoK, it's Raiko or however you spell the president's name. He's so ungrateful and impotent he'd make Obama blush. RC was clearly better off with a democratic council.

yeah I feel like these education camps and her purity ask felt tacked on too much. Kuvira looked like a merit based leader and shouldnt have discounted non earthbenders. and I agree Su was too isolationist and kept a lot of advancement to herself instead of helping out.

I personally don’t like Su. It’s because of her inaction that Kuvira is doing this. And she’s not even owning up to it. Kuvira shouldn’t be messing with the Spirit vines and needs to go about doing equality with less intimidation but who else is doing anything? Su is living a life of advanced luxury in Zao Fu and the Earth King is well the Earth King. And the Avatar was MIA. I’m rooting for no one this season because Kuvira is made out to be less gray than Zaheer and Amon. She’s still better than Korra’s Uncle.

It surprises me NOT AT ALL that Eric picked up on it. They always talk about Detective Calvin and occasionally Detective Aaron, but I feel like Eric is the one who pays the closest attention to what they watch. He's the one who picks up on the little details.

Im thinking its because the Spirit Swamp knows that the end result of all of Kuvira's meddling will result in the (insert finale of Book 4 of Korra here) and so, much like the Force in Star Wars, it allows what is happening to continue without much resistance.

"nickelodeon had their own ideas on what that episode should be" is wrong, they just cut the budget to make the season an episode shorter. They didn't want to put the animators out of the job, so they did a recap episode instead of making the season an episode shorter. The "meddling" was budget cuts.

fun fact: the next episode was gonna be centered on kuvira's backstory but nickelodeon had their own ideas on what that episode should be and if the creators didn't follow on their plans, the studio would cut their budget in a way that they wouldn't be able to finish the season. executive meddling folks for better or worst

how we edge ever so closer the the end of the avatar series, it will be a sad day when its over, its been a wonderful ride love you crew of blindwave!
