Aaron is so wrong wrong wrongity from wrongville. I've never heard someone be so wrong. You've opened up the wrong force and are now stuck in wrong time, that's how wrong you are. A nuclear explosion is so beyond anything Ralph has remotely handled. He may survive explosions, but they still exert force on his body and then he shifts back into shape. The magnitude of this explosion would vaporize him. And that's not even getting into issues of radiation.

The Flash Writers did a Goof! I was rewatching the series and heard something rather interesting. Back in Season 1 Episode 7 during BlackOuts attack on Star Labs, Harribard named names of those he hurt that night. Albiet he said hurt but it could be implied he means he having a role in their deaths like Ronnie(even tho he turns out to be alive only to um...yeah.) He name drops Al Rothstein, also known as Atom Smasher and our elongated man, Ralph Dibney. Atom smasher we see come back in the season 2 premier as a corpse after his earth 2 doppelganger kills him. And of course we know where Ralph Dibney is XD. Aaron, a nuclear bomb is a very different explosion than a normal bomb. The radiation is much more powerful than acid, and would more than likely incinerate him instantly, especially if he were to wrap himself around it.

This isn't about Ralph but it needs to be said. I think the Speed Force saw this coming. We know its sentient. We know its connected to all points of time and space. I believe it did the whole lightning thing at the end of season 3 just so Iris would remember it for this episode.

Are you kidding Aaron? Atom Bombs incinerate people and leave them as silhouette scorch marks on sides of buildings. If Ralph sat on one, no matter how far he could stretch, he would be incinerated

Gotta go with Eric on this one! The exothermic heat and radiation would incinerate him, and I think the concussive force alone would disintegrate him as well. A nuclear fallout is too great of a force for his powers to handle. Sorry, Aaron! Still love you though!

Ralph got "heartburn" from a bomb that can destroy a city block. So a nuke? The blast alone, not to mention all of the radiation would probably kill him

Based on his issue with acids the exothermic reaction of a nuclear blast would have done the same thing to him only far far worse. Pretty sure his cells would have disintegrated to.
