I said no, but that's only because I don't think the trash people as a whole are more sophisticated than we think. However, I do think there's much more to Jadis and her story, and why she wanted to make such a "different" kind of place.

Yes, I feel like there would have to be something more to it otherwise it will just have been so much wasted time with them. That being said, I am quite interested in Jadis' new development and where that could lead.

We didn’t really get a lot of clues to suggest that there was more to the trash people until now. While a reveal would be interesting (say, like an underground bunker and helicopter akin to Day of the a Dead) it would feel a bit like a cheat. PS. Best episode in ages.

I saw an interview with Scott Gimple where he implied that they had a pretty thriving community and only used there stilted speech with strangers to be off putting. I doubt they have some crazy facility but I imagine they all had their own shipping containers set up as homes. I did think they were interesting but I would have liked to see that if that was the case. I can imagine a small vignette of that wizard guy listening to opera while sipping tea in a shipping container full of artwork with a Venetian rug and a leather armchair.

There was definitely more to the trash people but I don't think it's a huge sophisticated underground bunker. They wouldn't have brought up the helicopter/helipad twice now if it wasn't leading somewhere.

I absolutely agree about Enid , she did what she had to do . Gma wasn't asking Aaron why he was there , who he was , what he wanted , she was going to kill him and Enid protected her friend .

I think there could be something sophisticated underneath the rubbish like a military base or something but the trash people didn't know about it, maybe Jadis knows or will find out as she must still be alive for a reason. PS. Calvin, I think that Enid was right to kill the ocean side leader as she was about to stab Aaron with her pole.

Remember that time Rick saw a helicopter when he was on his way to meet with the trash people, Now Simon talking about Those guys having A Helipad? looking like they are hiding something for sure.

I think there is more behind them, it wouldn't make sence for Simon to mention the helipad and solarpanels, for it not to be important.

If it wasn’t for Simon mentioning a helipad and solar panels I would have definitely said no, but now I think there’s more to it and hopefully it’s something that really progresses the story.

Now that we’ve lost the Trash People, and Rick and crew’s three communities are basically just one big one now, Oceanside better not step in and be the new Trash people by being shit.

Well as soon as her people all died Jadis started talking normally, which made me think, OK was it all just an act? I hope she keeps talking normally 😂 and I now wonder what she's going to do because at this point she's been playing both sides.

In tv shows they always show things for a reason. Having Simon say that line about the panels and helicopter pad must mean something. And didn’t we have a scene this season of rick looking at a helicopter flying by?

YES because we have never got a back story on them. I think they want to shock everyone with it and thats why they kept Jadus alive.
