Agents of Shield 5x10 Poll!
Added 2018-02-06 16:16:09 +0000 UTCDo you think Deke and/or Enoch could have time traveled back as well?
Comments
I feel like Deke is related to somebody we know. Most likely the grandson of fitzsimmons. He talked about how his father was so attached to the monolith and would not part with that small piece of it. And what would make him so attached to this rock? Perhaps his mother and father were also obsessed with it? Working on it day and night? Trying to stop some confusing af time loop!! So to answer you're question, i do not think Deke is dead, there is more to be discovered about him.

2018-03-03 12:15:07 +0000 UTCI really wanted to see Deke in the present time.

2018-02-21 03:46:17 +0000 UTCMy boys got FRIED!
2018-02-20 09:25:59 +0000 UTCI feel as if deke is the grandchild of Fitz and Simmons, they were talking about how his father always believed and so did his mother. We never got to see his father (the son of fitz and Simmons) so therefore he might return in a cameo in the finale of this season
2018-02-15 03:10:45 +0000 UTCHey blind wave I think that Enoch is dead( in the future) and Deke was sent back in time with the rest of the team because of the same source of light coming from both the monolith and monolith piece in front of deke. He could have been sent before Enoch exploded. Also Aaron it is a loop because when the loop reaches the future someone always activates the monolith to bring the agents to the future because robin tells them too.

2018-02-09 03:54:57 +0000 UTCI think Deke has a chance since he was in FRONT of the machine with the monolith! And It makes sense since his character has been developed a lot!

2018-02-09 02:11:56 +0000 UTCGuys, Coulson dying has to be ghost rider deal because in the fight where he was stabbed Daisy was cut too and nothing was mentionned about her feeling something. It would ake more sense for Coulson to be dying from the deal because he has been a little bit clumsy in some scenes in the 3 last episodes even before he got stabbed.

2018-02-08 20:45:41 +0000 UTCBringing them back to the past wouldn't do them any good since breaking the time loop would cause them to be erased.

2018-02-08 12:55:32 +0000 UTCThe explosion turned them into energy and they traveled back in time to power the monolith that turns the agents into The Flash. Or something like that.

2018-02-07 23:50:08 +0000 UTCWe will see Enoch again since he doesn't have to sit and watch a Fitzcicle for the whole time he is frozen.

2018-02-07 20:48:02 +0000 UTCThey dead!
Paul Gregory
2018-02-07 17:54:00 +0000 UTCI think Deke might have traveled with them. He didn't really get a proper farewell. Enoch like Eric said is still in the past watching over Jupiter-Fitz, so he could pop up that way. Also I hope we get at least to see Hunter again in the past

2018-02-07 15:42:40 +0000 UTCHe sends the past agents into the future after they're all dead in 2091? I think they're just using the word wrong, Aaron's right, Groundhog day is a time loop, the loop starts, gets to the end then resets, in this the timeline is going linearly. It starts when they're sent to the future from the diner, live in the future for a little bit, return home, try to save the world, fail, live out the rest of their days, the future comes, nothing has changed from when they were initially sent. There isn't a reset of the loop anywhere, they just jump forward in time for a spell then return to live the rest of their lives, the most they could have done this is once unless they are somehow physically resetting a loop, which they aren't.

2018-02-07 14:41:30 +0000 UTCMaybe the little part of monolith in the machine activated and sent him back

2018-02-07 13:50:58 +0000 UTCThis whole time loop thing gives me a headache but hear me out: Enoch hires the mercenaries after witnessing Robin’s drawing, predicting an “Extinction level event”. The agents are sent to the future apart from Fitz who is imprisoned for six months and is chriogenically frozen for 74 years. Upon killing Kasius and saving the people the whole team returns home a few days after past Fitz went to space, meaning Robin would still be with Hunter (return?) leading to this world ending event. As seen per the flashbacks the agents make it until at least 2022 in the lighthouse, so 4 years following the end of Earth. Come 2091 all the agents in that timeline are dead. This is when Enoch sends the past agents into the future. Thus the loop. Maybe.

2018-02-07 08:44:02 +0000 UTCIf Enoch traveled back in time won't there be two Enoch then?

2018-02-07 08:35:48 +0000 UTCWe’ve seen with Malik in season 3 that small pieces of a monolith can also be activated. Deke was surprised by something. We haven’t learned any more about his parents, or had any kind of follow up on his ideas about what happened to the Earth, or really any closure about his character besides him now believing in and trusting Shield.

2018-02-07 00:17:20 +0000 UTCI feel like Enoch is for sure dead from powering the machine, but I could see Deke being sent to the past. He was in close proximity to the monolith shard, and the light that engulfed him didn't look like an explosion to me.
Dylan Carpenter
2018-02-07 00:11:08 +0000 UTCFor me I think its deke that got sent back in time, just how he says son of a b*** could be like him seeing the stone move towards him or something .
2018-02-06 23:11:18 +0000 UTCI really hope that's the case, because I really like Enoch. I was sad to see him go.
Ian Vega
2018-02-06 20:55:59 +0000 UTCI'd say if it were to happen, Deke would be sent back in time, Enoch was pretty much dying to send the team back. Also, there is more than one kind of "time loop" what the show seems to be using is something along the lines of a Causal loop.
Ryan Witalison
2018-02-06 20:51:59 +0000 UTCGod I hope so. I have grown to love that robot and i want Deke to see what the world was like before it got Destroyed , but I think it is more likely for them to be dead. I am still holding out hope for them to make it.

2018-02-06 20:11:14 +0000 UTCAlso people that can't feel pain naturally exist. It's a rare disease but it happens. But usually if you are born with it you end up hurting yourself as baby or a child like chewing your tongue or breaking bones all the time so early death are common.
Doby Greg
2018-02-06 18:46:19 +0000 UTCThey are super dead.
Doby Greg
2018-02-06 18:43:49 +0000 UTCI hate loops in shows or movies because they have no reason to be broken yet it happens anyway. Yoyo didn't meet an alternate version of herself she met her future self(Or else Fitz couldn't get there the long way) so everything should happen the same. But for some reason time will change just because.
Doby Greg
2018-02-06 18:43:35 +0000 UTCI'm going to go with neither because I think they died and I don't think it's what is the show is doing. Although I think there's always a maybe with things you guys come up with. Great reaction as always.
Supermonaman
2018-02-06 17:52:17 +0000 UTCYou could roast marshmallows off of their corpses they're so dead.

2018-02-06 17:43:13 +0000 UTCMy bigger question based on Mays facial expression when Coulson hides wound is does she know what Yo-Yo knows because this last version of Robin told her he’s dying?
Andrew Courtney
2018-02-06 17:28:37 +0000 UTCI voted for Deke to have travelled back given that he was standing right in front of a piece of the monolith in the machine, however I think its a very small chance so its most likely to be Neither...BUT I STILL HAVE HOPE. SO I MADE A VOTE FOR HOPE
GoFree4
2018-02-06 17:20:36 +0000 UTCI said neither, but I hate it, because Deke was probably my favorite new character
Alex 2cool
2018-02-06 17:13:18 +0000 UTCEven if Enoch time traveled, he'd be out of power. But he should still be alive when they get back, because he got to the future by just waiting.
Nathan Mortenson
2018-02-06 17:03:17 +0000 UTCWell, Enoch should still be alive when they return since he didn't time travel to begin with, just waited ~70 years
2018-02-06 16:54:55 +0000 UTCDEATH
Gezno
2018-02-06 16:52:15 +0000 UTCDeke knew ahead of time that he would blow up. So why did he act surprised when it happened? (The “Son of a bitch!” moment). I think the piece of the Monolith sent him back in time too

2018-02-06 16:40:22 +0000 UTCNope they super dead
James Thompson
2018-02-06 16:36:59 +0000 UTCnope. they are both DEAD! it exploded in middle of dekes last sentence, right in HIS FACE
2018-02-06 16:31:15 +0000 UTCI dont know, but i love this show. Also how awsome is that shotgun bayonaxe.
Mary Poppins Y'all
2018-02-06 16:25:08 +0000 UTCFor now, I think they both died. However, since Deke was standing right in front of a piece of monolith, I feel like there's the slightest chance it grabbed him too.
Darth Skhorrn
2018-02-06 16:24:55 +0000 UTCWould be cool cos i like both of them. But no they dead.
Salix
2018-02-06 16:22:25 +0000 UTCI don't think they go back. It would be awesome, but unlikely.

2018-02-06 16:19:56 +0000 UTCSince disintegrating can’t send you back or forth in time I’m going to go with a strong no
