We knew by this season top bad ass seemed to be tipping away from Ragnar to Bojn. I know no spoilers but i can see a war between the good Ragnar Son and a Bad One in the final season but i doesnt have to bebetween the two prophecy sons of Ragnar.

I guess some stuff in this show is weird when you first watch it. Things sometimes just happen, but the pay offs are always great! The show never slows down and doesn’t waste time spelling every little detail of character motivation out. That’s why it’s awesome.

Motives are crystal clear to me and always have, they do not hit you over the head with them like a CW show. I think they consume so many shows like that, that it feels weird for them when a show doesn't conform to that, cause there's plenty of reactors and none of them have mentioned the motives being confusing.

Its a show about historical/semi historical events and characters not a story written for a tv series. Your playing catch up because you don't know what Rollo did in real history.

Not sure why you guys struggle with character motivations so much in this specific show. It’s not hard to put 2 and 2 together that Aslaug now resents Ragnar and wants him gone, and that Rollo has been presented with an opportunity to leave Ragnar’s shadow, and he’s taken it. Not every story beat needs (or should) be explained in any show, yet you guys constantly want that from Vikings Also it’s Erlendur, not Horik, who was married to Torvi. Horik’s son. Horik is long dead
