You've been mentioning that you like the drawbacks the quirks have, that's one of my favourite parts about this series, every power has a drawback that means it isn't just completely over powered, it just works so well

Ok Blind Wave, say it with me now... Ba (as in what a sheep does) - Coo (as in what a baby does) - Go (as in HIT THE BUTTON!!!)...

Ryan Wojo

ya, I like his sub better but i dont know just knowing its Sabat makes it all the more better for me. He does a great job though and its a close second to the sub.

keith earnshaw

Yes! Thanks to them I've watched The Legend of Korra, FMA:B, Rick & Morty, and now I've gotten started on this and some Torchwood.

Savannah

You guys really got me into this show. I hope that the people who own these shows realize that your channel doesn't take views away from their shows, but add to their revenue. It's far better advertisement than whatever they can come up with. I just ordered season one on blu-ray from Amazon.

Greg Alan

Screw the people complaining about the dub. The dub is perfectly fine.

TheWerdna

im also wondering why the full length isnt up yet

ImSkydon

This was definitely a humbling experience for Bakugo.

Gezno

Fun fact! The author of this series was not only a huge fan of Dragon Ball but also American comic books, especially Spider-man. As you've already noticed he also loves Star Wars, but a cool tidbit that you don't see in the show proper, he actually has a side manga story going separate from the one about Deku. The hero of that story has a power that makes him look like Spider-Man when he uses it!

I think the reason Midoriya's arm burned but didn't blow to pieces was because Bakugo wasn't aiming to kill. I really love the voice acting of the DUB, the characters fit but there was a glaring mistake in phrasing (imo) when All Might shouts to Bakugo, he replies something like "It won't kill him if I don't hit directly" implying that he has the sense and sanity to not shoot to kill... Just severely injure and harm - Like Batman Lol. In this dub he says "It won't kill him if he dodges" or something like that and it kinda makes him look even more a villain than he already portrays ( I don't know why they chose that phrase I mean damn Bakugo doesn't need any more help in the look-villainous department lol. Great discussion and am so glad you guys are loving this series! Plus Ultra!!

Tammi M

Dubs not bad, all might's better subbed though

Herberderber

To be honest if you LOVE people limiting themselves with their powers you should check out The Law of Ueki, The main characters power is to turn trash into trees.

when you watch Bakugo, how can you NOT think of Vegeta?! He's Vegeta x11!!

Kali Mbata

is there no full length for this episode ? :(

Aw it just recalled to me... there's this one recap episode that's just going to be boring when they do it.

Cody Kematch

Kacchan's powers remind me of Cornell Sciplo powers from SyFy's Alphas.

Terrence Xavier

Let’s just say you will not be disappointed. There are many of us who call him Bakugoat, and for a very good reason. I cannot wait for season three enough.

Sammy

Ikr I also can't wait til they get to the sports festival

Marquez Mayes

The writer of the My Hero Academia is a fan of Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball series so I'm glad that you noticed similarities. These types of fights are also really common in shounen manga/anime.

I can't wait for them to watch episode 12

Mattman

I still maintain that Midoriya's initial bunny-like costume was fine, albeit in need of some tweaking since it was made by Midoriya's mom just with supplies she had at home after all. A silly/cute costume suits Midoriya's image more than a costume like All Might's or Bakugo's, and the bunny look specifically really suits Midoriya later in the series in my opinion for reasons you'll find out much later.

Subaru130

Bakiko, Bakuga, Bakujo. I love your incorrect pronunciations.

Patrick Watts

Ok I’m officially invested. Watching the subs today. And is the outro new? I like.

Anonamai

I'd love for them to react to Attack on Titan also. It's one of those shows that leaves you wanting more, but I find that it's too much of a slow burn. Every episode leads to more questions but not enough answers are given. But what helps the show along are the characters and the action. It's a love/hate relationship lol. It'll be cool to react to but I dunno if they'd enjoy it as much if they're interested in the story aspect.

Anthia Grant

You know what's so funny?? Bakugo is pissed as a default lol through out this whole story. I read the manga

Samuel hawthorne

About Bakugo, he's getting there in regards to character growth (slowly, but still),. And damn, now I wish you guys would react to Attack on Titan.

Juliane Ivanow

Bakugo's biggest fault (I think) is believing that everyone else sees the world the same way as he does. As far as Bakugo is concerned only the weak would ever need help, because if someone was strong, they would be able to do everything on their own. So why would Midoriya, who is a feeble, quirkless weakling try to help Bakugo? Because, obviously, Midoriya sees Bakugo as weaker than himself, and thus needed help when he fell into the creak or was being attacked by the sludge villain. Why would MIdoriya try to get into the same high school as Bakugo? Because, obviously, he thinks Bakugo and him are of equal strength. Midorya has been insulting Bakugo for their entire life, the only problem is that only Bakugo is arrogant enough to see it. I haven't read the manga, so who knows how it will go, but I think that Bakugo has some of the best potential for character growth, and I hope that the author can really delve into him, because I think done right, Bakugo + some humbleness would be a contender for the best heroes out there.

Charcuterie

That’s a comparison the other sub/dub commmensts are just nit picks

Yannick Hector

It's actually interesting to see the ways characters come across a bit differently in the dub vs sub. Like Bakugo is an utterly unsympathetic jerk in the dub, while in the sub he's... still a jerk, but a bizarrely endearing jerk. He's so over-the-top aggressive, even to random objects (like two episodes ago, during the fitness test, when he throws the ball and shouts at it "DIE!!!!"), that it makes him really enjoyable to watch. The dub seems to redirect all his aggression at Izuku, instead of just a considerable portion of it. Anyway, sorry, I know you guys don't like sub/dub comparisons; I'm just having fun.

Nadya Coles

Some quirks are useless... AND SOME QUIRKS TURN YOU IN AN UNKILLABLE GOD

Alex Morelli

If you'll notice Deku's entire mask was destroyed by the end.

Swordhunter

Yeah when I first started watching Blind Wave he seemed like the hardest to impress, so even now I sigh in relief that he's enjoying a show we're "forcing" them to watch.

TAP

After watching this myself and then again with multiple reactors, the first season kinda takes too long. I'm glad they're enjoying it tho, that's the most important thing.

TAP

A lot of shonen Mangakas are inspired by DB series's Mangaka.

Burooj Ahanger

If anything makes you feel the way you feel when first watching dragon ball, then that thing is doing something right

Noah Burke

I'm really glad that Shane seems to be enjoying himself. Honestly happy Shane is a treat.

Eisen

Waiting a whole week of work just for this!! Thanks!
