2017-12-21 20:44:36 +0000 UTCPretty sure the crew even mentioned, during season 2, that they are aware that some of vikings is historical fact so I find my self confused that they get irritated at what is simply a historically correct tv drama (however slightly altered). However that might just be my imagination.

The time skips are disorientating because they are tying to cram decades of events into the series, its a tv show about historical events not a story written by writers.
