I watched the new film yesterday, and I was indeed entertained and will come back for more, so it was a success in my books. It was nice to see that easter egg to the GL Corps, but I wanna see a version of MM on par with the old cartoon. i mean, Supergirl's variant is not bad at all, but it's just not on "that" level you know? Still, was great to see Jason Momoa back in proper action again. T'was just like Ronon (SGA) back in my early teens. Also, ben Affleck is probably my fav big-screen live-action batman yet. He does what the others have done, but without the odd un-batman-ish feelings Michael Keaton or Val Kilmer emanted in some scenes, and he utterly blows Bale's garbling mcgurgles "batvoice" away, being surpassed only by Kevin Conroy at giving that naturally deep and intimidating but chilly voice. Sure, Conroy is better because he doesn't need a filter, but Affleck's batsuit filter is far better than Bale's batvoice. Plus, Bale tended to overact a bit here and there, andn those instances were worse than Batfleck's "Martha"scene IMO.

Ok, clearly My Hero Academia has won, but is there any possible chance of doing Justice League also? I know everyone says their preferred show is awesome and should be watched, so I'll sound a bit cliche here, but the Justice League animated series is genuinely one of the best, not only superhero adaptations, but one of the best cartoons EVER, as well as a clear inspiration for the recent live-action film.

Why wouldn't they like it? They loved One Punch Man, and MHA is another Hero series, except this time it's actually serious. Another thing to note is that the studio that created MHA is comprised mostly of the staff that OPM's animation was outsourced to.

unlimited is pretty good, better than the first season in my opinion. The main thing though is that justice league's best story arcs tie heavily into the older animated series and you lose out a bit if you haven't seen them and I don't think any of them saw superman's.

Yeah this would be ideal. And I feel like waiting for FMA to finish and then picking up MHA and letting JL replace YJ makes the most sense too. Justice League fills the same kind of niche as Young Justice and with how they've mentioned that they didnt know a lot of the lesser known characters, it would really help to expand their knowledge of the DC cast which would likely enhance their enjoyment of the live action DC shows they watch a bit and YJ season 3 if they plan to watch it whenever it gets released.

I think everyone saying that there is too much anime on the channel is over blowing it. If MHA wins there will be 3 anime out of all their reactions. You don't have to watch every show they put out. I don't watch Vikings, Supergirl, or Torchwood, that's 3 shows, the same amount of anime on the channel and I get by just fine with the myriad of other reactions and things that they put out.

Maybe every other Sunday you could switch. So one sunday you react to MHA and the next you react to Justice League. It would leave a larger gap between episodes, but it would provide more content for both types of fans.

I have an idea for situations like this. We all know that having anime shows in any poll are more likely to win just because of the massive fandom, but it loses the chance to react to other amazing shows like Justice League the Animated Series and Batman the Animated Series and really any non anime show. So perhaps we could have one show slot for non anime shows and one for just anime shows that way non anime fans can have a show to watch and enjoy while anime fans are not disappointed either. It might mean for spread out reactions and less frequent episodes as you have to react to all of these shows, but it would provide an opportunity for shows that aren’t anime as there is a large number of people who want these non anime shows.

I welcome them open hearted :) But as a non- anime watcher I feel like there is no chance my vote in polls even matter. I would prefer a standard set slots for anime and for live action. This would make anime polls if an anime wins and live action polls if a live action wins. Justice League and specifically JLU serves as an excellent introduction to the deeper DC universe, it will help you pickup on so many of the easter eggs and B to D level heroes/villains that you miss on the CW and other DC shows.

MHA Its heavily influenced by americans Superheroes comics and has a lot of references to Star Wars, I think they are going to enjoy it. And what they watch and enjoy most are both Superheroes and Star Wars, so I think MHA is a perfect fit. But I agree that I would love for them to react to things like Baccano, Durarara, Monster, Cowboy Bebop or Ghost in the Shell SAC

And there's nothing inherently wrong with anime, but a nice balance is better. Plus a lot of people aren't huge anime fans, particular Shonen series. MHA is fine, but if they are are to add another anime I would prefer something a bit more mature along the lines of Death Note and FMA:B. Something like Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Monster, Psycho-pass, Darker than Black or even something shorter and a bit more fun like Baccano.

Justice league and ulimited are combined together the best superhero show out there especially once you are at unlimited. However they just did young justice and Justice league is pretty damn long. I would definitely advice it as a personal waatch but for variety and being able to move slots I think other shows might be wiser. I'll reserve my vote for now. Also Academia is a bad idea for now. It's hardly a fit on their style and it comes of the tail of Young justice and One Punchman. Vote some variety.

Fringe would fit this group so well, its unfortunate that Eric has seen it, but i do enjoy when he watches a show again that he loves, with a friend, like he did with calvin for game of thrones. Fringe would be amazing, it is however pretty slow for once a week (even though thats how it was released) but it is an incredible show, and intensely underrated. I have seen everyone of these shows, so i am content with whatever is chosen, but My Hero Academia's dub is pretty bad, and thats what they watch, so idk how i feel about it. The Gifted would be fun for them to watch, but it would end pretty fast considering its just 6 weeks ahead, and in the first season. Best bet, in my personal opinion, if not Fringe, than it should be Justice League, because it is along the same lines as Young Justice, and i will miss their reactions to Young Justice when its done in a few weeks.

Dammit, Black Sails doesn't get the credit it deserves! It's one of the best shows of recent years, and most people have barely even heard of it. I'd love to see BW react to it at some point, because it really is one of the few shows that only got better as it went along and actually ended perfectly (never overstayed its welcome).

Hm, doubling down on anime for two slots might make people grumble, but hopefully they keep it to themselves lol. That said, while I voted for Justice League (And hope that it comes up as an option in future polls), you would actually be better off starting with Batman the Animated series. The DC Animated Universe starts with Batman, and its all one long continuity that builds upon itself over time. I guess starting at Justice League isn't impossible, but they kind of go in with the assumption that you have certain knowledge about Batman and Superman from their respective shows that preceded it
