I was definitely rooting for Dany and Drogon. Honestly I get that people think she's bitchy but she's being more and more like aegon mixed with stannis and I like it. Also, I looked back on the loot train attack and that overhead shot of Drogon burning stuff shows her avoiding the grain. Smart cookie.

I absolutely love Bronn but I was rooting for Drogon, which I realize is fucked up. But I guess that's the brilliance of GOT.

Well wopdido man some of us don't watch trailers. I don't get why you would want to watch snippets of a show when you're already invested already. Better to enjoy the whole thing unspoiled, not knowing certain scenes makes so you cant put things together when you know you haven't seen something.

Everyone claims Jaime or Dany couldn't have died there because they are more important to the plot then Bronn, we can't say that we don't know how important he truly is too the plot. Thoros brought back Dondarrion and we still don't know how or why he is important. So lets not jump to conclusion and say one character is more important than another, we are all walking through the same smoke not knowing whats going to happen.

Bronn felt like a goner for sure. Fan favorite, yet not a main character, the set up with getting his gold and the promise of a castle (nothing says death in GOT like a potential happy ending). And then once the battle started, you knew SOMEONE was going to die, and we knew it wouldn't be Dany, so Bronn felt like the obvious choice, especially once he wounded - but didn't kill - Drogon.

Jaime for sure. No way Dany would have died there. I was scared for Drogon but she has two other dragons and though it would have been sad if Bronn died, because i would have missed his one liners, he is not integral to the story like Jaime and Dany. Really thought Jaime was a goner at the end

Bronn. I'm convinced Jaime is the "little brother", so I wasn't fearful for him., and Danaerys is the sort of character that is only at risk in the series finale. It's kind of funny, with George R. R. Martin's reputation, that we can see plot armor now (we all knew Jon was coming back). It just took us five books to figure out what kind of story this was. Bronn and Drogon were the only ones I felt were at risk, and there was actually a part of me rooting for Drogon to bite it (probably just because he was with the Dothraki; they can be entertaining to watch, but f*ck those guys lol).

There is no way Daenerys or her stupid dragons are going to die. Maybe one of the other 2 but definitely not Drogon. Sadly. And if Jon and Daenerys get together I'm not gonna watch this show anymore, I hate her. She would be nothing without her dragons and all the help she's had from Tyrion and Jorah. She's one of the worst rulers on this show "do as I say or you die". They don't get to choose if they want to follow her or not, she'll kill them if they don't. I hope Jon never bends the knee to her, she needs to realise that there's a bigger threat and she can't get what she wants all the time.

You should read the poll a bit more carefully. It's not necessarily that people don't like Dany, they were just smart enough to realize that the showrunners didn't have the balls to kill her off at this point.

I don't know about the rest, but "Fearful" implies I expected them to die. I like Jaime, but I was surprisingly fine with him dying in battle. Same with Bron. Danaerys has no chance of dying, so I interpreted the poll as who you most expected to die and were worried for. I chose the dragon, because I legitimately thought he was gonna die

Interesting concept jmacmall. I think Jorah would choose his love for Dany over his family/house duty to the Starks, especially since Eddard Stark was the one who cast Jorah from his homeland and would have beheaded him if caught (as Warden in the North it was Ned's responsibility to impose the King's justice to Jorah who broke the law & sold men into slavery). There was no love between Jorah & Eddard as season 1 revealed, but in recent seasons we've seen the Stark & Mormont houses unite. I think it's significant that Sam, Jon's best friend, is the one who saved Jorah's life. Jorah may better trust the words of a man who saved his life than the relative of Ned, & may play a significant part in persuading Dany to finally fight with Jon against the Night's King & his army of the dead. P.S. It would be awesome to see Jorah & Lyanna Mormont in the same room, I think he'd be proud & impressed to see the strong little Lady of Bear Island.

While the dragons are cool and all.. we got three of them and they have barely any personality. I'll take Bronn over a Dragon anyday.

Ser Bronn of the Ballista got quite some screen time before the battle and it made me feel eerie.. Then his tense fighting in the battle made me so nervous and then freaking Drogon.. I thought he was done for.. But in the end he is just the MVP. AS USUAL!

I was worried about Dany getting injured but didn't think she'd die. There were a few times I thought "this is it, he's gonna die..." for Bronn & Jamie, but if they did die I felt as if I'd accept it as a heroic but tragic GOT death. But once Bronn shot that Drothraki rider I was most worried for Drogon, more than I had been for any of the other characters, as I've had a feeling that Dany would lose one of her dragons this season & was so tense (butthole & all) with anxiety & concern that Drogon would die & Dany would lose her biggest son & have to build more of a relationship with her other dragons. P.S. as a sidenote I just realised that Dany only has 3 sons, no daughters, & since she will never have any other children, will her current children be the last of the dragons? Unless maybe one of Jon's descendants hatches more in the future... but that can't happen if Jon marries Dany...

I feared Bronn's death the most. It felt too early for either Jaime or Dany to die. Also, if one of the dragons were to die, I feel like it would be Viserion or Rhaegal, before Drogon. He is the most important/powerful of the three dragons. If he were to die, I think it would be in season 8.

I was sure Bronn was going to die, Plotwise I could be his end, but he would have killed drogon too. What if they put poison on the ballista harpoon? And Drogon could still die??

Although I prefer Dany, Jamie and Bronn character wise I have to say Drogon as I didn't expect Dany to die this episode and I thought it was Jamie and/or Bronn's time. I feel Drogons death would have had a bigger impact than them two at this point in time.

Without question Bronn would have been the most likely to go in this battle. That said if Dany was riding a dragon other than Drogon I think a dragon could have died. They would not kill off the most powerful of her dragons.

There was no doubt in my mind that Daenerys, Drogon, and Jaime would survive. Game of Thrones is no longer a show that is willing to kill off its main characters without warning. There are no more Red Weddings or sudden beheadings, which is frankly a shame. It has come to the point of predictability, at least with its major characters (i.e. Dany, Jon, Jaime, and Tyrion). That being said, I definitely thought that Bronn was expendable, and I did enjoy him throughout the series.
