I think both first option could be interesting. Death for the discussion and Rick & Morty for the reaction proper. There isn't that many show about purely the reaction and where it is purely about the enjoyment. I think One punchman is the only one they have like that right now. Considering how short One punchman another short light hearted show would keep a little diversity. Also there isn't that many interesting reaction to the first seasons of rick and Morty. But considering the arguments made for Death Note I did put a vote for it anyway and maybe they will consider doing them both. American god is also close to finish.

You don't even know what "reaction" means. The reaction is the part during the episode, where we see how they react to the events in the episode. The discussion at the end of a reaction is a review. So whenever someone says Rick and Morty or One Punch Man are bad for reactions, they are simply wrong, they are fantastic for reactions. OPM is a very popular reaction series, and Blind Wave's most popular at the moment. Telling Blind Wave to ignore the poll results of their PAYING FANS is just ridiculous... "I know I'm not the only one who feels this way." So what? We have a poll here and the result of the poll is what matters. And Rick and Morty will obviously have 3 seasons by the time they finish season 2. Just to correct some more things in your rant...

You do realize how fast that statement falls apart when put under the slightest scrutiny, right? A. This isn't a fancy restaurant where you can only get small portions, it's a buffet table where you can watch anything you want as long as your interested. And B. The whole "they should save it for when they don't have something good" mentality doesn't work because they will always have something good to watch. Hell, just right now, they are reacting to One Punch Man, Korra, Doctor Who, Young Justice, and Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

I feel like Death Note should wait. We should save the good ones. Right now we already are getting Legend of Korra. Their focus is mostly on that show, which is good. If Death Note was added to weekly schedule, then it wouldn't get the attention it deserves. Each gem should be cherished, but that cannot happen when all of them are on the table.

I know the Blind Wave crew usually reviews sci-fi and fantasy and anime but if anyone cares for a 6-episode crime mystery mini-series, I'd like to suggest River starring Stellen Skarsgård (Dr. Erik Selvig from the MCU). It's a whodunit -- not the most unpredictable but quite compelling with a stellar cast. Nicola Walker and Eddie Marsan are phenomenal. -- The premise? John River, Skarsgård's character, is a brilliant investigator who has vivid psychotic hallucinations. (That's all I'm going to say.) Also, another UK show: Humans (about AI and robotics and how they affect society) Technically a remake but the original is Swedish. My list has gotten longer: Classic Doctor Who, Penny Dreadful, Orphan Black, Hannibal, Person of Interest, Merlin, Black Mirror, River, Humans, Torchwood. And oh, I've been thinking of watching The Leftovers. Because of Chris Eccleston. If that turns up, I'll finally get around to it.

Its prett obvious Rick and Morty is gonna win even though its still early but the show has a huge following and with the season 3 hype building up now is the perfect time to check it out.

READ THIS IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT BLACK SAILS IS: Black Sails is a drama on Starz, which is really just a less popular HBO - probably why you've never heard of it. The series just wrapped up at a clean four seasons. Unlike many shows (cough cough Walking Dead) the writers/directors/producers of Black Sails were more interested in telling a succinct, epic story rather than dragging their world out to make more money. The characters are all anti-heroes, which means they are all incredibly interesting and developed while also managing to be relatable as well. Throughout the series, relationships and characters show true development as the main plot line carries on in a seamless manner. There is not a single sub-par episode; each one has stakes and emotion, which helps the show achieve the ability to kill off main character while making its audience care every time. Unfortunately, because the show is less known than others, it is doubtful that you all will vote for it. So if any members of Blind Wave are reading this (love your content by the way), I would recommend adding this to the list of shows that you guys watch because you want to like you did with American Gods. I promise you, as a young man who watches new shows simply because I enjoy watching you watch them, this is one that you will carry in your hearts forever. There is not only plenty to care about in this series, but just as much to speculate on and even more to discuss after watching. If anyone else is thinking about watching it yourself, just invest one hour into the first episode and I guarantee that you won't stop watching after the final scene. Hope this helps someone if not everyone. Enjoy!

Me personally, I'm not a Rick and Morty, Breaking Bad, or Fringe fan. I hadn't seen Death Note, Black Sails, or The 100, but have been wanting to. So I watched the first episode to all three and I can't make up my mind which one I would vote for. Death Note is kinda dark for me, but seems like there'll be some interesting developments as the show goes on. It took me about half the episode of Black Sails, to really get into it, but the end left me intrigued to keep going. On the other hand, The 100 has my mindset of a great show; however, I can't really get on board with some of the characters. But again, I love the synopsis. So... I'm not sure right now. Perhaps I'll need to watch 1 more episode of all three to make up my mind.

Death Note is the far superior option when you consider these two things: A) Rick and Morty has far less meaningful discussion. There is no theory-crafting or Detective Calvin to look forward to, its just "that joke was clever!" and "that joke was a really great reference to that obscure thing!". Death Note naturally has more talking points with its strong overarching story and has plenty of "holy shit!" moments that get you off of your seat. B) Death Note provides a different and more serious tone we've been missing since GOT among their reactions, why have another light-hearted show in the roster?

Hmmm... None of the shows I want to re-watch with them are here. Classic Who (from Hartnell) Penny Dreadful. Orphan Black. Hey, even Person of Interest. Jonathan Nolan's baby. Definitely Person of Interest (more for the ASI arc, not the person-of-the-week episodes) I'd like to see them pick up the Batman nods. Or react to the Battle of the Gods. I miss the Machine. And Harold. And Bear. Heck I miss everybody. Merlin, maybe? They watched Smallville. Merlin was born from Smallville. Could be a nice happy-vibes and happy-ending type of show. (except for that final gut punch). Plus John Hurt was there. And the familiar face of Lena Luthor: Katie McGrath in her breakout role. And the doctor from The Empty Child. Oh, and Black Mirror (the UK series) -- I've only seen one full episode but it was disturbing and compelling and simply excellent (but I wouldn't dare watch that alone ever again and then be alone with my thoughts later). Hannibal for more of Bryan Fuller's imagery. BtAS, StAS, JL, JLU Would also propose Torchwood but I'm not so sure given how uncomfortable they were were the Jinn-Salim scene from American Gods. But Torchwood scenes are tame compared to that. Clicked Fringe just to see which one's winning. I guess you can't undo voting. Switched to Black Sails because I've never seen it and it might be a good time to start if it wins. (Unlikely though. Looks like Rick and Morty's winning.)

I dont think the English dubbed it horrible. Its one of the better shows that is dubbed plus you cant compare sub and dubbed. I totally agree with the fact that Rick and Morty is not a reaction show. If Blind Wave was one of those channels that just watched shows and didnt talk about it afterwards, Rick and Morty would be a good fit. But Blind Wave is more than that so Death Note would be a great show for them to react to.

One Punch Man had more depth to it and discussions/speculation. I don't think that Rick and Morty is a good show to react to because of the lack of discussions afterwards. Other shows such as Avatar, American Gods, Vikings, etc always have great discussions after they watch an episode and thats one of my favorite parts of watching Blind Wave videos. So, I voted for Death Note because I don't just want to see their reactions, I want to hear their awesome discussions after each episode seeing what they think will happen next. Rick and Morty is a no-go for me.

Just watched the first 3 episodes of Academia, wish it had been on this list so I could have voted for it :) Way more interesting than I thought it would be: I hadn't gotten around to it because I figured it was "merely" very good shonen, which I wasn't really in the mood for, but it has some really interesting themes.

Firefly and Dollhouse for shorter term reactions (you could get through both series in a year at once per week), Buffy (and later Angel) for longer term commitments
