Legend of Korra 1x9 Reaction Early Access!

The flashback in this episode is on my top 3 moments for this season of Korra. One of my other top 3 moments is coming up very soon, and I absolutely cannot wait. I don't really have much to say here without sounding repetitive. Your Korra reactions are so much fun. Definitely agree with Eric about Amon being an incredibly compelling villain. And with Clavin about that Mako and Korra moment at the end being.... awkward. Your theories are also so interesting listening to, whether they're right or wrong, because you all put a lot of thought into it, and sometimes even when it's wrong it genuinely feels like "Huh, that's a direction the show could have gone in". Glad you guys got some badass Aang, you'd been looking forward to that. :) Can't wait for upcoming weeks, we're closing in.

I'm pretty sure Katara said that her brother died in episode 1. Not explained how, but he's with Aang.

The coolest thing about this show for me, when you think about it, is that now for the end of time every Avatar that was born into the Air Nomads will be a descendant of Aang.

It should be noted that there are no other air benders besides Tenzin and his family. Iroh did not train with waterbenders, he observed their techniques and used it to learn how to redirect lightning. Enjoyed the reaction.

We should note, Korra was not rescued, she escaped. Korra was hurt, but she was on the way home when Team Avatar found her.

Pema asked Katara how her kids were when they were little in the first episode. She mentioned Kya and Bumi by name. The Crew even noticed Aang named his son after his old friend.

The names of Katara and Aang's kids are Bumi, Tenzin, and Kya. Kya was named after Katara's mother.

One of my favorite season 1 episodes. Everything was just on. Tenzin, Lin, and Team Avatar investigating the Equalists, Korra connecting with Aang to learn of their shared past, Tarlok vs. Amon, and we got to see Aang, Toph, and Sokka as adults, and the Aang vs. Yakkone. Everything was just great to me.

I would have loved they explained Amon airbending-like moves.

At work now but I can't wait to watch this!! This is probably my favorite episode for book 1. Awesome korra moments, awesome aang moments, it has everything! Can't wait to watch
