RWBY 4x12 Reaction Early Access!

need some light humor while waiting for season 5, watch rwby chibi, season one is out and season two is also coming out this month on the eighteenth

larsa valeth

Now that you guys have finished volume 4 what do you think about the idea the qrow could be ruby's dad? I mean look at yang she doesn't really look like ruby and, it seems that yang's dad has the stronger genes also with the talk of his power forget what it's called about it having to do with bad luck maybe he didn't want ruby to get dragged in with his bad luck, so he stayed as far as he could while still keeping an eye on her and they both seem closer at least closer then ruby's and yang's dad. I don't know if it's true or not but it'd be interesting if it was.

Now that I think about it. Ren has an upskirt fetish. He looked up Yang's skirt during the food fight in volume 2

Belrevan

When Nora told Ren to stop looking up her skirt, that was the moment I knew everyone would be fine

Belrevan

Piccolo! I mean, Vegeta!

Belrevan

guys just a little info. that grim is based on a demon creature called a nucklavee. also the last scene with Qrow and Oscar is funny because of how Qrow called him pipsqueak. Qrow is voiced by Ed from FMA and Oscar is voiced by Al from FMA. so its funny how "Ed" is calling "Al" pipsqueak

Dylin Harmon

are you guys doing the missing world of remnants on rt website and rwby chibi?

AeroDbladE

Nah, don't need a major death every season. Especially when Qrow has a lot more narrative potential. Besides, why kill the best character on the show when we still know nothing about his background?

Amazing, as always, guys! Thanks for another incredible Volume. Also, the Wave Cave is looking and sounding great, although it's sort of an optical illusion. When Eric scooted back, you just looked like a tiny, Peter Dinklage version of yourself. Also...Can we get a compilation someday of all the slap-bets?? :D

Nuckelavee is Scottish Isle, Orkney folklore, translated is "Water Horse". That shit is freaky because it's supposed to be a skinless man horse combo, that would drag people into the water. As stated by another person, Qrow and Oscar are voiced by the Eng Dub of Full Metal Alchemist Qrow - Edward, Oscar - Alphonse. So seeing them work together again is pretty cool to see.

I think one of my biggest complaints of the volume is that Qrow didn't die. Don't get me wrong, I didn't WANT him to die, but for all intents and purposes, he should be a dead bird.

MasterPoppers

I disagree with the recommendation of MurderofBirds. He is overly enthusiastic and is blind to the flaws of the series.

MasterPoppers

A few things I would recommend to you is to listen to the soundtracks from each volume as there is a lot of meaning behind each song. I recommend that you check out a YouTube channel called "Flynt of RWBY Nation" as it has each song with lyrics and a picture of the character the song is about. I also recommend that if you are interested in finding any other RWBY reactions to watch you should check out "Puns of Damage" and "Murder of Birds" on YouTube as they have some of the best reactions/discussions about RWBY. Glad you guys are all caught up now hopefully Shane can watch it so he can join you for Volume 5.

And Camp Camp

Nicholas & Heather

Close, it's Nuckelavee, two Es instead of two As. I think it's a Scottish demon

Fyre

The Grimm is called a Nuckelaave (I think I spelled that right)

William Beasley

Now for RWBY Chibi!

Cory Ng

The last eye, might refer to Odin in legend having a crow and raven serving as his eyes. Maybe with Raven not working directly against Salem anymore left just Qrow as one eye, thus with his poisoning the last eye would be considered gone. Or maybe Qrow just served as a scout or eye to the outside world for Ozpin.

Glad you guys are all caught up this is one of my favorite shows you react to. Just as a suggestion I think it would be fun now that you are finished with RWBY if you guys started to react to Red vs. Blue it's the series that got Rooster Teeth known and I think you all would enjoy. It would be great if you got Shane to watch with you since he wasn't able to join you for RWBY.

hopefully they do the World of Remnant videos but gonna miss watching rwby reaction videos on Tuesdays now idk what i'm gonna do those days :(

I was a little disappointed with how quiet this season was too. That is until someone pointed out that the seasons match the seasons. Season 1 was spring. New beginnings. They started school and formed the teams. Season 2 was summer. It was a lot lighter and fun, they had the food fight. Season 3 was fall ... Literally. Season 4 was winter. It was quiet and cold and dealing with the fallout of fall. And it ended with some bright hope because season 5 should be spring again

Volume 4 was a re-set/re-assess volume for the characters and a set up volume as far as the story goes. This is why so many people think "nothing really happened"". Think of it in the same way as Volume 1. I think that Ruby writing that letter at the end really shows the difference in how her and Jaune deal with grief. Ruby internalised and analised (going so far as to have doubts) and only then expressed to Yang (in writing) where as Jaune used it as a driving force to improve himself. These are things that has caused a lot of differing opnions in the fandom. (Sorry for all the edits, not used to commenting on Patreon, kept forgetting you have to used Shift+Enter to start a new line).

Weiss was mostly about going home and deciding once and for all that her family isn't all that great, which she alludes to in previous volumes. The other things that you missed in the discussion with regard to her; getting her summoning under control and casting off her status as heiress (forced, I know, but it was only holding her back anyway). Blake seemed to my mind to be dealing with not only her 'selflessness issues' but also trying to answer the question of how to 'undo so many years of hate' Calvin, don't feel too bad - I'd have lost the slap bet too (as would have a few others over at the RWBY subreddit. :P

Qrow told Ruby that the enemies trail led to Haven during the Volume 3 Finale

CDJackson96

Dr Watts (The man at the end meeting the professor) is voiced by Christopher Sabat, who I think needs no introduction.

Qrowe

A demon of Scottish folklore. :) er :S

The note - last episode of Volume 3, at the end, Tai finds a note that Ruby left as she was leaving. She basically slipped out without him noticing at first. Also, a couple fun facts: - The voice actors of Oscar and Qrow are the same as the voice actors for the English dub of the original Fullmetal Alchemist series. - Oscar's full name is "Oscar Pine", by removing 5 letters you are left with "OsPin". Not sure if that will come into play later, but as Ozpin was never given a first name, Ozpin may be an assumed moniker and as Ozpin stated that the same thing happened to him as Oscar, it's possible that the soul transfer may always transfer to people who's name can contract into the moniker.

Inifus

now you have to wait till October for Vol 5

Andrew Garcia

At the end of Volume 3 Qrow said our enemies trail leads all the way to Mistral, and I think he said that because during Cinder's speech after Penny got turned into Quarters she said as someone who hails from Mistral I can assure you the situation there is equally undesirable. And if you want more RWBY you could watch RWBY chibi. It is just a sketch comedy show, which doesn't seem like your normal thing but it is there if you want to watch it, I'd watch you guys watch it.

Edward just called Alphons a pipsqueek

OTSojourner

that grim is based of the Nucklavee (or something like that) form Scandinavian folk lore.

OTSojourner

We made it booooys

Toast Knight

All caught up

Zeemod
