Lyra and winns relationship has always bugged me. Its fake and every scene they are in has to be about them.

I'm really on the fence about this bc I'm typically excited to see more female characters who can hold their own in CW shows. But I just feel it's the tiniest bit forced with everything else going on. Sort of like the writers said "Hey Winn and James still exist, too! Also Lyra!"

I would rather they end the Guardian story entirely, but if not, add Lyra because she makes it slightly more interesting, at least.

I understand why they did the Lyra thing this episode, as a parallel to the main story--two close friends of the same gender have a conflict because the love interest of one did something violent, and then they reaffirm their friendship at the end. It's good episode structure--but I still voted against Lyra staying on the team, because I really don't think she adds anything to the dynamic.

It could add an interesting dynamic. I did already love the bromance of James and Winn but I don't want to knock this new addition till we see a little more of where it goes. And maybe they can work on her anger issues as well as help her be the best version of herself.

My concern with Adding people too certain teams is because of Arrow. Arrow adds neat good new characters too teams but cannot use the new members well once they join. So I voted against changing any teams this season.
