Why would anyone admit that Mon-El's existence is their fault if they didn't have to? Obviously they have an ulterior motive!

2017-03-25 01:42:36 +0000 UTCI feel as if they're seeking vengeance for the loss of their home by destroying the remaining kryptonians (Kara and Clark) new home in return. Them wanting Mon-El to return is just safety on their part before they lay waste to the planet.

2017-03-24 03:09:58 +0000 UTCI think coming to Earth and realizing they have powers here, finding out there's a Kryptonian alive and then going back to a home where they'll have to rebuild and possibly not having its ideal conditions from before will make them want to come back with an ulterior motive later.

I believe that since the destruction of their homeworld, the oppressed people will see this as a chance to gain their freedom out from under the harsh rule of the royal family. Perhaps Mon-El is seen as the person that can usher in change or solidify the old ways, depending on whose side he chooses.

But as the question stands, no, I don't believe they have ulterior motives. I think their motives will change though.

And maybe they like the new Power they got and put it to use. Stay on the planet where you have powers and take it over by force.

They might return at some point, but I see no reason for anything else they could have come to earth for. Other than their son and Prince.
