Since avatar is finished you guys should seriously consider doing the 100. The show is severely underrated and you all would enjoy the show. Also maybe consider watching that 70s show if none of you have seen it previously. In my opinion its the best sitcom ever put on television.

Funny, I hold the exact opposite opinion. I think they took what they learned from Avatar, and made it that much better in Korra, ESPECIALLY in the finale. But hey...both shows are pretty great :)

If you guys do watch The Last Airbender movie then maybe you could record your reactions like you normally do but with only the audio of the movie playing without showing any footage. I've seen other reactors do it such as My Name is Simon and it hasn't been taken down for copyright at all. Just something to think about but whatever you decide on doing good luck getting through this mess of a film.

I prefer Korra after a rewatch, and I am pretty some of the crew will also prefer it after getting used to it. I could tell why but that would go into spoilers.

The animation studio switch during some of season 2 was due to short notice. Season 4 was the one with the budget cut (that's why we got a certain episode). Still, that's just details. Nick's handling of Korra was bs regardless.

Yea Nick kind of shafted Korra. They ordered the 1 st season and waited till it was almost done airing to order half of the 2nd season. Then they cut their budget and had to switch animation studios. They ended up ordering the rest of season 2 during production and then ordered 3 and 4 and bringing the budget back. And then , while airing the 4 season, the completely cut it from television and it was only uploaded to the website. Honestly, imo, if it didnt get screwed by Nick so hard, i think Korra wouldve been better the TLA. I enjoyed the more mature themes in 3 and 4 SO much.

Korra is not quite as good as avatar, as it was not planned from start to finish like avatar was. The overarching theme is not as clear as it was In avatar, because korra was extended due to fan response after the first 2 seasons I think.(could be wrong) It was originally to be much shorter. If avatar was a 10 I'd give korra an 8 as a fanboy. Lol, so it's still worth watching. But its not the same masterpice. But at least you get to see some familiar faces and decendants of your favorite characters! (And you won't loose as many of your avatar fanboy patrons, *cough*)

I don't know how the writers did it, especially not minding death scenes myself; but, I seriously started to feel it was very wrong if Aang killed Ozai. Killing him would have actually been easy way around the situation, what Aang did, it showed the fire nation mercy, in a way. And showed them they're not all bad people for one person's mistakes, it's honestly...beautiful how the writers did that scene.

Also, since you guys really enjoyed ATLA, I definitely recommend Korra. You'll learn so much more of the lore and legend of the series, it really is an essential part of the Avatar universe! You'll love it, and you'll love Korra and her Team Avatar as well!

Also just a little extra lore, when Aang went Avatar State at the end and put out the fire, his eyes turned white and then went back to normal. That happens when an Avatar masters the Avatar State. If you guys consider this a spoiler you can take it down, or Ill remove it but I think is something the creators said outside of the show.

PLEASE PLEASE DO WATCH KORRA! But before, you should read *without spoiling* the promise(it's a must), the search( I don't recommend to skip the promise, but if you want do it to read as quickly as possible this one), the rift(skip it), smoke and shadow(it's cool but after the first two it can't be considered the best), and right now they are publishing north and south(it's on the same level as smoke and shadow). Also there are the Lost Adventures which basically fill up blank spaces between the chapters of the series(you don't really have to go into them but they are funny) and some mini comics(free) nice to read, but you can also skip it. So yeah! It would be nice for you to make a funny review of the shitty movie, then read at least The Promise and The Search and then go into Korra! Please, no "if"'s Korra is AMAZING, but I wont say anything else...

I have to say you guys did a great job in editing this series to get the meat of the episodes in to that ten minute limit. I have so enjoyed watching your reactions and reliving ATLA with you guys. I want to echo other posters and say you really should do Korra. Season 1 was entertaining. I did not care much for season 2. Season 3 is just as good as ATLA in my opinion and may be my favorite season of both shows. (I had issues with the execution of the finale, but that is a convo for another day. 🤓) Season 4 was also quite good. The music and fight scenes are amazingly well done in Korra as well. Hope you'll check it out!

It has been so much fun watching Calvin when the others discussed the "future" of the show...

The avatar state was established during book 1 so it doesn't really count as a deus ex, maybe the energybending counts as one even though they teased it earlier in the series. As for the fight itself, Aang technically beat Ozai 3 times, first when he deflected his lightning but he chose not to kill him, then in the avatar state, and finally when he regained control (i.e. not in avatar state anymore) he used seismic sense to stop his attack and his movement. He could have easily killed him in all 3 cases but it went against his moral and we do have to keep in mind they can't show him killing the bad guy.

I can't quite believe this is over. :'( What a journey. Now I just want to go back and rewatch all your old reactions. Oh and I'm glad you say you'll be rewatching it Eric! It's great to do when you know where everyone ends up. But yeah. Gonna have to watch this reaction like, five more times before I'm ready to let this go. And looking forward to the QnA video! It's gonna be a lot of fun. Also, applaus to Calvin for being so good at not giving anything away. I can imagine it was difficult to keep quiet some times.

A lot of people throughout the series have been talking about Korra as if it's a done deal, but it's not. Korra is a different show and they have said in the past that if you wanted them to do Korra after Avatar you would have to vote for it as part of a show poll. They even had a poll where Korra was an option and it lost. They also have the 10k poll winner that they have to start watching. So I don't think they will do Korra for a while. They may have it as an option on a future poll, but for the mean time I don't see it happening.

Something to keep in mind for whenever you do Korra. Remember that you'll be going from the finale of one show to the beginning of another one. People seem to forget this and expect far too much from the beginning episodes.

I actually disliked the ending of the battle. Even as a kid I viewed the Avatar state and the energybending as deus ex machinas. I would have preferred it if Aang killed Ozai after a long and difficult struggle, not spare him after easily overwhelming him, using the power and skill of his previous lives and not his own skill.

Technically Zuko still lost. L, Azula and Zuko hash it out there cool and Zoku named his daughter with Azula and May's name combined. Azula isn't a prisoner she went soul searching kind of like Vegeta or Sasuke type. I think it's mostly cause what prison would hold her.
