I think that toph is probably as strong or almost as strong as boomy, and shes still a child so imagine how strong she would be at boomys age so in the long run toph is stronger.

When Calvin started to cry, then Zuko started to cry.. I started to cry.. :'(
Dante's (Zuko) voice acting in that scene was beautiful, to see Zuko, a character who is a tough, serious and powerful fire bender break down like that and pour out his heart about all his regrets and things he is so sorry for, makes you feel for him so damn much.. Great Video! :)

REACT TO THE HONEST TRAILER OF THE MOVIE PLZZZ
2017-03-14 01:16:15 +0000 UTC
The small section of the video about the martial arts consultant is okay, but this video has some major spoilers for the end of the series. Do NOT watch this now if you want no spoilers. After, however, I would recommend watching the whole thing. Really is worth it.

i'd say the shurshu couldn't find and because the lionturtles scent covered that of Aang and since lionturtles only go above the water surface every 1000 years or so she didn't know the scent to distinguish

The lion turtle is a spirit creature. That is why Aang couldn't be sensed. The spelling is Bumi.

I teared up at the renunion too. It always gets me. Nice reaction in general, though this episode like the last is a lot of build-up, though that doesn't mean it isn't awesome! Seeing the white lotus as well as Aang's talk with his past lives and the lion turtle are all such cool moments. And you managed to edit that together so well, I was afraid we'd miss out on something and we didn't! Aang's debate on where you draw the line between your own morals and your own 'spiritual needs' and the fate of the world is interesting. Because Aang would probably have been taught by the monks that to achieve spiritual completion (or whatever term one uses), and be part of everything, you shouldn't take another life. And he's only 12. Being the Avatar at that age gives you an impossibly huge responsibility. I think they mentioned previously that it was tradition to not tell the Avatar who they were until their 16th birthday. They told Aang earlier because of the war, which he wasn't ready to handle. And now he has to be. It's heavy, and I love it. And the lion turtle has such a cool design. it has been appearing in art work and sayings in the show for quite some time, but it's hard to notice if you don't know what you're looking for. Can't wait for the next two episodes, even though I can't believe it's nearly over. :'(

Don't worry, they're very good at editing. We'll be getting all the important stuff. They won't do full reactions because that's not how they do things, and it would be against copyright regulations.

The lion turtles are very ancient, they were teased in an image in the spirit library.

Firebending isn't equivalent to the dark side. That was the point of the dragon episode. Its source is "drive," which can come from rage (dark) or purpose (light). The point was that its original source had been twisted into something dark by the Fire Nation, and its goodness had been forgotten.

They never explain how 'Power lvls' work in avatar, but without ruining anything (for legend of korra mostly) I will say that technique and power are to different things. Aang hasn't been shown to metal bend, but if he were in the avatar state I don't think anyone would argue that his earrh bending is more powerful.

"The Lion Turtle fits within the theme of a World Turtle, which is particularly evident in Chinese and indigenous American mythology and culture.
Lion Turtles have great cultural importance in the Avatar World and are referenced several times throughout the series.
•A painting of a Lion Turtle was depicted in a scroll inside Wan Shi Tong's Library.
•Piandao compared Sokka's courage and heart to those of a Lion Turtle. •Piandao's manor boasted many Lion Turtle furnishings.
•Admiral Chan's home in Ember Island had a Lion Turtle door knocker.
•General Fong and General Sung both had pauldrons representing the head of a Lion Turtle, as did one of Aang's battle "options".
•Aang and Sokka hid behind a Lion Turtle statue outside the Earth Kingdom Royal Palace while devising a plan to meet Earth King Kuei." –Avatar Wiki

The Lion Turtles have a very ancient and strong bond with the spirit world. It would explain why they couldn't track Aang because of that.
2017-03-13 19:10:16 +0000 UTC
As far as not being able to locate Aang, I think the implication is that the turtle is somewhat spiritual. It talks to him

Yea, I always saw the LionTurtle as existing between the two planes and that's why Aang appeared to not be on the physical plane.

Metal Bending didn't exist until Toph invented it. So it was never an advanced form of Earth Bending. However, after she invented it, then technically it could be considered a form of Earth Bending.

The lion turtle was seen way back in that owl spirits library. without spoiling anything for Korra, the lion turtle is spiritual creature that knows the history of the world as it hinted to aang about the history and origin of bending. I think that he didn't exist was implying the turtles spiritual significance outside of just our mortal world. It's important to remember how crucial spirituality is in this universe and how things like the turtle or even the spirit library they found can operate outside of the normal rules of reality.

It takes place between book 2 and 3 and goes into what happened to aang when he was in a coma and goes into the backstory of the face stealer PLEASE react it before you go to Legend of Korra.

Lion Turtles are mystical creatures in the Avatar world, so I think that's why that animal couldn't track him.

On multiple rematches, you can notice that Bumi lost muscle mass from being imprisoned in that metal casket. Love the attention to detail in this show.

I assume the turtle is so linked to the spirit world that being on it is *like* being in the other world, and thus untraceable.

The lion turtle moves all over the world and therefore smells like everywhere so Aang's scent couldn't be pinpointed as being in one place.

Man I cry everytime on the Iroh scene. The type of feelsgood wide smile and watery eyes cry like Calvin there. The music compliments the show amazingly this whole episode.
