For those who didn't like the legend of korra as much, there is no reason to bash on it in the comments. I personally prefered the last airbender at first, but I just rewatched Korra and I really just enjoyed it more. Let the crew decide for themselves, ,I honestly think they will like it more in the end. I would say why I like it more but, I think , for alot of people, its the nostalgia that makes the last airbender better, and because its the first that came out. I dont wanna spoil anyone with why I prefered one, but I think that 1 came out before the other, the love/hate would probably be inversed . You dont have to say that you dont like Korra when you just prefered the other. They are 2 great show ( in my opinion ) and it was a hard task to do a continuation like that without failing or making things too similar.

I agree 100% with #2. You should always try to find another way. But as far as I'm concerned, letting people die when you could have saved them, just because you didn't want to "darken your soul"? Is much worse than killing one person to stop them from killing many.

I think people have died as a result of aang's actions, like the fire navy at the northern water tribe or the war balloon he took down, etc. But killing someone face to face is different, mentally if not morally. Ozai would be the first human being that Aang knew with certainty would died by his hand. I think that's the root of his dilemma.

I agree, it's easy to say "I would kill him" but that isn't an easy choice to make for anyone, let alone a child who was raised as a pacifist monk. Airbending is infamous for its lack of killing blows because airbender culture is against murder.

its not about rather you can redeem someone or not. its about 1. not darkening your soul for something as stupid as killing someone and 2. at least trying. that is what makes good people truly good and separate REAL heroes from these vigilantes. heroes never kill, they always do what is right. and no ang has never killed that is just your adult violent brain trying to rationalize a cartoon lol. how many times have you seen an animated character walk away from something in real life a person couldnt? no difference here. no corpse no death

As for Aang's dilemma, he's still only 12 years old, and he was raised like this, it's all he have left of his culture.. Not killing someone if there's another way isn't a weakness, and I like Avatar bringing this whole thing up. To quote a movie (that was quoted in a recent movie) "There's no living with, with a killing. There's no going back from it. Right or wrong, it's a brand, a brand that sticks."

I'm so sad this is coming to an end, but also really excited for these reactions. This one has a lot of funny beats, and it's nice to see. Laughed along with the crew, as usual. But yeah. Gonna be strange with Avatar ending. Nice that you managed to find stuff to discuss even though you're watching four in a row. :D It's great that you take the time to do these in one go, but I kinda like that we still get them twice a week. Makes the unavoidable end a little further away.

Yaaaaaaaaasssssss so good. You can see and hear already how much of a bigger budget this had than a normal episode. I of course already know how the dilemma is resolved in the show, but I gotta agree with Aaron about the moral question: sometimes, violence is the answer. It should generally be a last resort, but if it's to stop something worse? Killing the Fire Lord while he's trying to burn down the Earth Kingdom isn't murder, it's warfare, and fully justified warfare at that.
