I think that Sara should be the leader of the Legends but Rip should be the Waverider's pilot and captain

The Wave Rider is Rip's ship. It always has been and it always will be.

I choose both because I think it would be interesting if they were Co-captains.

Of course, the rules of three-act plays say if Act 2 ends on a downer, Act 3 has a happy ending and vice versa. That doesn't bode well for the Legends finale.

I think Rip shouldn't be captain because it means he can't fuck the robot--it would be too creepy for him to be dating someone programmed to obey him! Plus Rip probably feels guilty about the stuff he remembers doing, so he needs a redemption arc.

I agree with OmniRanger that Rip could go back to the Legion as a double agent, as they won't know yet that he's been "fixed". Although I can't see them doing that for more than 1 or 2 episodes.

It will always be his ship, but to just instantly put him back in charge after everything that happened I feel would be a bad idea. He could use some time to re-acclimate with the team, and to work out any leftover resentment they may still have from what he did.

I love Sara but Rip is and will always be the captain of the wave rider. Personally Rip is my favourite character on the show, he's just great

I personally don't think Sara was a very good captain. A captain should know their ship inside and out, but she just expected Gideon and Jax to take care of everything. I mean seriously, she thought it was a good idea to bring evil Rip on board (ok fine, I get it), didn't have anyone watching him, and didn't consider the possibility that he could regain control of Gideon. At the end of last episode, I couldn't help but laugh a bit, especially after Jax said "This isn't your ship". And not one of them thought "Hey, maybe we should have Gideon give him a sedative so he can't do anything." It very clearly IS his ship, and he showed that with how easily he got Gideon under his control.

First off, great episode! With all the other CW shows having act 2 ending down points it was nice to have Legends give us something happy for the week! Rip is the original captain, it is and will always be his ship!

At this point I think Sara will be the acting Captain and Rip will go back to the legion as a double agent because, I don't think that they know that rip is back and it would be a good way for them to surprise the legion. I also think that Rip and Sara could be both captains one on the ship and one on ground mission.

Rip should be captain on the ship while Sara should be the leader when in the field.

As much as i would love to see Rip as captain again, i think Sarah is doing a great job. She should stay as captain.

i really liked sara as captain. And i feel like rip will step aside on his own because he still feels guilty about the stuff that his rewrote-self was doing

While it is rips ship and there is a emotional attachment between the two, Sarah has brought this team closer and has shown she can be the leader.

Rip. He brought them all together afterall. He will need some time to acclimate back to the way of things, but I think he'll get along just fine before too long.

I voted Sara because this season has been amazing and i just dont see an ounce of weakness as Sara as Captain. Rip as captain did have his well personal issues. Like Rip fine but maybe should not be put in command so fast with out proper tests too see if he has anything wrong with him since hes been gone.

Sara stepped up when they needed a leader. They were a team under rip but I feel like they are really a family with Sara in the lead. Rip and I can see the next episode or two coming to grips with trying to lead again after what he did. He might even give up command to Sara willingly if he thinks she'd be more effective than him.
