unless camalot simply vanished somehow cause it ended up being a myth

2017-03-11 10:14:08 +0000 UTCneither, in myth when arthur pulled the sword from stone it was simple the Sword in the Stone. then the sword broke and merlin had to take arthur to the lady in the lake to borrow the magic sword excaliber and magic scabbeth from her. thats way in the myth Galenhad had to return the sword on behalf of arthur to the lady else arthur would have broken his promise to her.

2017-03-11 10:12:26 +0000 UTCWhy not both?

2017-03-06 09:58:26 +0000 UTCI think it's the sword in the Stone. Although Ray's sword was really fucking cool/awesome!
Supermonaman
2017-03-02 16:00:23 +0000 UTCDefinitely Rays Sword. and am i the only one who wanted Darhk's arms and legs to get cut off while fighting Arthur. Tis but a scratch!

2017-02-28 03:18:09 +0000 UTCAnyone else ever get a bit annoyed at how the bad guys let everyone live for no reason? I love all the legends and don't want them to die, but is there a reason that Darhk leaves Ray alive or Rip just shoots Sarah in the gut and leaves her instead of just shooting her in the head aside from plot armor?
2017-02-27 02:55:16 +0000 UTCThat lightsaber tho.. awesome

2017-02-26 05:46:37 +0000 UTCI think Excalibur is the sword in the stone because with Ray I think he became the new Galahad after he died.

2017-02-26 03:50:27 +0000 UTCI think its rays since in mythology they are believed to be 2 separate swords and Excalibur was known as a sword that had magical properties rays tech would seem to be magic, it was in Robert de Boron's Merlin that it's said that he pulled Excalibur from stone.
christopher wills
2017-02-26 02:21:03 +0000 UTCI think it's both. Stories often get change through history, so the people saw a sword in a stone and a glowing magical sword and through time they became one as the legendary Excalibur (in this universe, where Camelot is now real)

2017-02-26 01:19:45 +0000 UTCMy question is, what if the sword had come out when she pulled it, but the spear bit stayed inside the rock?

2017-02-26 01:18:31 +0000 UTCI agree with Eric, you shouldn't be able to break Excalibur. Having Ray be the main hero in this episode I would see Excalibur being the light sword he created.

2017-02-25 21:42:39 +0000 UTCIn most versions of Arthurian legend, the Sword in the Stone is something Merlin created to test who should be king; Excalibur is a completely different sword that Arthur finds on his adventures after the Sword in the Stone broke. Merlin created this Sword in the Stone, and Vixen broke it, so Excalibur is a different sword. Combine that with the legend that Excalibur's sheath--not the sword!--makes its wearer invincible, and the not!lightsaber gets its power from the Atom armor (which would make Ray invincible to anything the 6th Century could throw at him), and that's gotta be it. (I know, armor's not a sheath, but later legends may have gotten confused, especially since Ray wears the Atom armor under normal armor. )

2017-02-25 21:32:42 +0000 UTCI honestly believe towards the end of the season Curtis will finally have enough, and finally use his brain instead of his brawn that he's been trying to use.
2017-02-25 19:57:15 +0000 UTCI am gonna say Ray's Sword. Sure the sword in the stone is nice, but this story is one that will go down in legend and eventually Ray's Sword and the sword in the stone will be one. Sir Ray of the Palms will be a hero like no other
Flashback007
2017-02-25 13:50:58 +0000 UTCExcalibur wasn't the sword in the stone. It was given to Arthur by the Lady of the Lake. The sword in the stone had no power. No it's more likely Rays Sword.
Red Claw
2017-02-25 13:29:24 +0000 UTCif i Had to pick it would be Ray's because in the actual story the sword in the stone and excalibur are two separate swords 80% of people dont know this
AeroDbladE
2017-02-25 12:55:08 +0000 UTCI dont think it was either. If the sword in the stone was Excalibur, it wouldn't still be in the stone.
Ryan O'Malley
2017-02-25 10:21:06 +0000 UTCAlthough I think Rays sword Seemed More magical like Excalibur treated like in myths. I was thinking if its real history maybe the Sword was a myth to the legend and there was no one hero sword.
Skeletor
2017-02-25 10:19:23 +0000 UTCCommon misconception. The sword in the stone is NOT Excalibur.
Undisputed
2017-02-25 10:14:31 +0000 UTCDepends on which version
Matthew Thacker
2017-02-25 09:45:33 +0000 UTCI always thought that for Arthur to be king he had to take the sword out of the stone. So I don't think the Sword in the stone we saw in this episode was Excalibur, but a replica. Maybe Ray becomes king because of his light saber sword was something powerful, and that he helped saved them from Arthur, who was the bad guy. At least in there version of the story
2017-02-25 08:41:50 +0000 UTCThey either had the sword in the stone representing Excalibur or what Josh Lofton said that it was neither due to Arthur receiving Excalibur originally from the Lady of the Lake.
Cameron Mason
2017-02-25 08:29:22 +0000 UTCI would say the sword in the stone is to be Excalibur. That is what most people believe. At one point in the episode both Ray and Nate says Ray's "saber of light" was galahad's sword.
The 16bit Couple
2017-02-25 08:13:15 +0000 UTCNeither. Arthur had Excalibur. The sword in the stone, contrary to popular belief, was not Excalibur. Arthur received Excalibur from the Lady of the Lake, which signified his claim to the throne. Since he was already King, he already had it.
Darth Skhorrn
2017-02-25 07:19:18 +0000 UTCI like to think that over time as the story of king Arthur is told over and over again the two sword were combine in to one in the final story is writing down. like how Sara becomes a man in the final story.
2017-02-25 06:25:52 +0000 UTCAs an Arthur myself I have to go with the Sword in the Stone, Ray's lightsaber was just sope fune the showmakers had, it would also give Excalibur the title of 'the Sword of Destiny' because of the piece of the spear
2017-02-25 05:55:31 +0000 UTCI just liked the spear tip being part of Excalibur. If the sword in the stone was indeed the sword. If she had hidden the tip there for a while cool to think it played a part in shaping Camelot.
Andrew Courtney
2017-02-25 05:23:23 +0000 UTCI would say both were a reference to excalibur, but there was no actual excalibur because if there was King Arthur would have had it.
