Supergirl 2x12 POLL!!

Do you trust Lena Luthor?

Comments

I trust her for now. I think she's been pretty genuine with Kara so far. I think that, for the most part, she is just trying to be a good person. However, I also think that there's a very good chance that circumstances may change and that she'll perhaps go down a darker path in the future.

ScarlettMi

I feel like if she does turn out to be evil it'll be more of a self-fulfilling prophecy rather than her being evil from the get go. If she sees how readily everyone already believed that she was just like her family, what's the point of even being good? Kinda reminds me of Elphaba from Wicked tbh.

Raven McShan

I want to trust Lena, but it is increasingly looking like they are setting her up to betray Kara one way or another. I think there will be some kind of confrontation or disagreement with them over something.

Jon Dub

For a moment I misread Supergirl as Supernatural.

Nicholas & Heather

I think Lena has a crush on Kara.

Rick Hamelin

I think she'll betray Kara one more time before reforming permanently.

Lincoln Ward

They want us to doubt, but I think they will play on our expectations and ultimately reveal she has always been good.

Darth Skhorrn

I want to say yes but she is a Luthor

I trust that she will be on the side of good. However it will be as an antihero and some of what she does will be in a gray area.

Supermonaman

If the message of this episode was not to prejudge people, then making Lena evil would contradict it. The people who argued that Lena must be guilty because she is a "Luthor" would be vindicated. So I'm hoping the writers don't make her another evil Luthor.

TimeTravelingPanda

I want to trust her. In fact, I think it'd be pretty boring is she just becomes a villain. We already have a Luthor villain with her mother.

Stoned Volus

Having her turn bad would be the opposite of the bad writing.

Darth Kal-El (Cory Weston)

She is turning to the dark side !!

I believed that I trusted her the entire episode. I was right on the side of Super Girl. But, the sinister way she was shown near the end has me questioning things, with the whole chess game scene. She bestest Lex in Chess. Maybe this makes her even more skilled in the art of deception and strategy than anyone else in her family. Will be interesting to see what happened for sure but it is the last scene that had me have to vote no.

Ziegenbagel

I don't trust her. I think it's an act and she will show her evil plans eventually. Maybe slightly the reason I don't trust her is the fact her actress played Morganna in merlin ha

BarryAllen1310

I don't buy her turning evil. However if she has been evil this entire time, then it would be okay. We saw her beat Lex in chess, so it would make sense that she was a mastermind like that.

Flashzie

Supergirl has been such a Superman-without-Superman TV show. If the storyline of Lena (first good friend then arch-nemesis) ends up to be the same as the Lex storyline, it will be another lazy writing. I would like Kara and Lena to be BFF... in a Superman and Batman way. Sort of. Good friends most of the time... Very different ways of thinking / acting sometimes... harsh headbutts at worst... but in the end, they shall always trust each other with their life.

Never trust a Luthor!

Jordan Brauer

They've been pushing at her being good for too long now, I have to trust her because having her turn bad now feels like bad writing and I have more faith in the writers than that.

Kevin Bartelen

I'd like to, but I can't. 'Cause writers are bad people. But seriously, I would imagine that even if she was a good person, all the people doubting and hating on her all the time will push her into becoming a villain in the end.

I want to trust her, but I have doubts. The Knight chesspiece was white though. Arrghhh.

Red Claw

I trust her to a degree, but would still keep an eye on her and her activities.

WhateverIFeelLike

I think she might be forming checkmate

Matthew Thacker

She might be the queen of checkmate 😁

Etty Gafa

Up until now, I had no reason not to trust Lena, she was just trying to basically destroy Lex's legacy. After what happened to her, with everyone but Kara assuming she was guilty, she could easily turn to the dark side, Maybe in some quest to get revenge on her mother for almost destroying her life and leaving her to die.

Ryan Witalison

I did trust her up until that last scene when she picked up the chess piece and ominous music played. I really want to trust her but I have a bad feeling the writers are setting her up to turn

Adam Lenz

I love her and I want to trust her, but I don't lol

Jéssica Fonseca

I do trust her, I feel the writers are making us question whether or not she is good. But I hope she stays good.

Cameron Mason

In My humble opinion I think the person to betray her is not gonna be someone from season 1. I think if anyone will betray Supergirl or be a Villain it will be someone new and that way its more or a suprise. I dont Trust The Female Cop or Superboy For some reason very much

Skeletor

I do, but I feel like I may end up regretting it!

hallie

I do but I think she could very easily start working for Cadmus.

Ryan O'Malley

No. But i think the writers like or have to make her suspicious on whatever the plan is. But no, because i think shes a future villain. maybe season 3. build up the trust with us and kara, just to tear it all apart later.

I feel this story line is VERY close to the story of Tess in Smallville

The 16bit Couple

I am curious about a possible checkmate connection. I want to trust her, but Katie McGrath plays what I like to call "Kind Evil" very well. Loved her Morgana in Merlin. I think she is definitely hiding something but is it good or bad I just don't know.

Andrew Courtney

I go on want I know from Smallville, maybe not always made the right choice but was in the end a caring character.

Andreas Froby

I think the end hinted at a possible Checkmate Organization storyline involving Lena just like Tess Mercers in Season 9 of Smallville. Could this be???

Travis Taylor

Hell to the no. You can never trust a Luthor.
