i really hope they find a good story or a good explanation about silver eyes and what made them so op against the grim we had a pit of that in the end of season 3 but not much and it seams that the bad guys have experience dealing with silver eye warriors apparently where they talking about summer or some other silver warrior because if they where talking about summer wouldn't they see that ruby looks a lot like her in that picture crow had they looked like twins to me if summer had the red hood maybe we might get more of this later on in season 5 or something

Ruby's dreams/nightmares were being brought on by a combination of her guilt and hearing Pyrrah's voice from the video on Jaune's scroll.

There's no pauldron on his sword arm to offer a wider range of movement, while having the shield and pauldron on the same arm is to give proper protection to that side. You don't want to get hit on your sword side in any case.

In regards to the Ruby's petal movement. Har... the Gorilla Grim reacted to the petals, and she was able to split the mass of petals to go around another Grimm in the V4. trailer. It is more than just a audience visual thing.

I did a quick Google search and it was hard to find anything really definitive, but according to Wikipedia assymetrical pauldrons like Jaune's tended to cover the arm that required less mobility historically. That was generally either the persons dominant side or their shield side depending on the situation. But in his case you usually would want your sword arm to be more mobile so it'd make sense to have the shield arm more heavily defended since I'd imagine a shield is harder to maneuver than a sword. Again this is just from Wikipedia so I'm not sure myself :)

Something to keep in mind with the training, it seemed like those three moves were more about power since he was creating visible gusts with them. I'd imagine they would be more tiring than a normal sword swing.
