I'm not sure if you guys noticed but I noticed the scenes of this episode flipping between Zuko and his father and Azula "fighting" team Avatar. It was a clever bit of cinematography as it displays the duality of the two siblings. One is willing to risk her life to die for her father, powerless due to the eclipse trying to stall for time while the other stands in front of his father with two swords drawn.

They know. Calvin brought it up in episode 3x9.

Disappointed in the editing of this episode. You left out a bunch of cool moments and instead keep in the intro. I could understand that decision if something interesting was said by the crew during it but not even that, you guys were just yelling. Shame.

yeah it's like, when i say i love azula i don't mean i like her how i like a character like katara. azula's a villain, she's supposed to be awful, and i love her for that.

I can understand the hate for Azula but I can't understand the unappreciation of how amazing of a villain she is. Personally, I love her - she's one of the most interesting characters and definitely an unforgettable villain. I don't know - I wish you guys could look at things not one sidedly sometimes.

I'm disappointed that they barely included any discussion on the fight between Azula and Aang's team, even if they replaced showing the credits with that scene it would of been better. Considering she was evading all 3 of them with no bending is something you'd think could be up for discussion...I really hope they don't cut out any more of her scenes in the future

Actually quite a few people did die :/ theres a shot where team avatar I flying away and you can clearly see that the number of people was drastically lower. It was implied that half of them didn't make it.

At this point there was a long pause in the show, I don't know about the US but here in The Netherlands we had to wait for nearly a year for the last part of the season. After a couple of months Nickelodeon teased the fans with the "Avatar: Book 3 Finale Trailer", I remember a lot of fans screaming out of pure hype during a live airing of that trailer at the NYCC. It's up to you guys if you want to watch that trailer before watching the remaining episodes, I think you would enjoy it because it uses an amazing version of The Avatar theme that never got used in the show itself.
