Agents of Shield 4x12 Poll!

The fact that Ward killed the first Koenig and we saw his dead body bleeding out of the ceiling makes me think that at least that one was real. The others could be robots or clones or something - I don't know.

The show might keep teasing us with jokes about it like they did in this episode, but I think this current LMD plotline proves that the Koenigs aren't actually LMDs.

It could be that they are LMD's but had their memories wiped because something went wrong or it was a secret project that was gonna be shut down but Fury didn't want to 'kill' them. They could have been wiped and one of then made to be anti-shield to keep up the idea in the Koenigs head that they are human. Some kinda software might prevent them from like realising they have metal under their skin like a perception filter or something, just a theory.

I think the Koenigs work as siblings rather than LMDs or clones. Marvel is just a group of trolls.

I hoper we always get teased more and NEVER get the real answer. Sometimes it's great to keep a good mystery going. I love that we don' know.

While S.H.E.I.L.D. was definitely crazy enough to create the Koenigs as LMDs with shared memories of a childhood (with Fury at the helm, at least), their own comment of the new LMDs "put us to shame" and being "obsolete" (Non upgradeable, in my understanding) and the fact that they truly felt the loss of Eric and that the newest Koenig wants nothing to do with S.H.E.I.L.D. really puts an end to the possibility.

I think it's possible but them all just being engineers makes sense to me. Or they are just all biological clones.

Remember that Ward brutally killed one of the Koenig siblings, whose body was found by Skye/Daisy. Given that the murdered Koenig sibling did not have cords/pipes that we have seen in the Agent May LMD, I am pretty sure that the Koenigs are real.

Probably some kind of clone experiment. Also find it odd only one sister. Shield has access to a lot of crazy stuff, so you just cant know the whole truth.

I think they are definitely part of some kind of shield experiment, what that experiment is I have no idea.

Of course it is possible that they are LMDs, but not very likely. Probably just a bunch of clone troopers

I like to think that if they ARE somehow LMD's that lying to them about it and calling them "Technicians" is a way to protect them from a sort of meltdown that might come with suddenly realizing you're a robot and that most of your memories are not real and your entire life is a lie. very...Westworld.

If they made LMDs, it would probably be made for the most important agents like Nick Fury (imagine if Coulson slips and says Fury managed to fake his death in winter soldier because of an LMD)

No he is no machine or robot. Now A clone is possible. More then likely he just has a good sized family. I mean Triplets can be born or even 4 kids at a time. But with this show who really knows. Whats funny is i think people once thought Coulson was a life model decoy when he did the movies.

My theory is that Shield was playing around with cloning humans but as technology evolved they opted to engineer LMD's instead. I like how they keep it a mystery though, it feels very much like Nurse Joy from Pokemon.
