Nobody could replace the Laurel that weve got to know for the past 5 years

I want to back up my vote for the mystery girl being Black Canary by saying, that is Oliver keeping his promise to a dying Laurel. He promised to train the next Black Canary if she didn't make it. The recent story with the statue being destroyed as well as "Laurel Not Laurel" being around gave him some much needed closure and opened up the possibility of him to finally fulfill that promise to her. And if future events lead to Faux Laurel filling the position in a later season I would be ok with that, but for now I think the ultimate form of closure for Oliver is to train this new mystery girl.

I say mystery girl. They saw the backlash to Laurels death because everyone loves the Black Canary/Green Arrow relationship in the comics. So this is their way of bringing that back by brining a new Black Canary that isn't hated like Laurel in earlier seasons and not hated like Falicity is now. Now (if people like the new girl and i think they will work extra hard to ensure that) people can have the awesome duo with the same dynamic as in the comics.

My theory is that mystery girl is a fake out. It sounded like just a regular scream with a little effect on it to make it resemble a canary cry. But it could have just been the waitress screaming. I think she's the Question. Why use Hub City if it's not the Question? She looks kind of like Renee Montoya who took up the mantle in the comics. Maybe she just kicked their asses. I hope so. It seems weird to just hand off the title to some random new character If you go Black Siren as Black Canary, you have a really cool and interesting arc to follow, you have a Black Canary with a physical canary cry, a Black Canary with a cooler costume (and hopefully goes by Dinah instead of Laurel), you don't undermine stakes because Laurel stays dead, and think of all the interesting and awkward character moments with the Lance family. We could get her whole backstory on earth 2 as flashbacks next season if they was to keep that story-telling method.

I think they're already undercutting the effect of her death with all this Black Siren stuff and the dream sequence from the crossover. At this point, I just want Earth-1 Laurel back because they've referenced her so many times since her death that if someone else becomes Black Canary it will feel like they're replacing Laurel as a person rather than simply taking up the mantle for a fallen comrade.

I love Loral/Black Canary and would love to see her back, however I don't think anyone new could fill her boot. I also don't think a redemption story for black siren would would in arrow at the minute either. To be honest the only safe option to keep me happy would to just keep her gone and let the Black Canary name stand for something

I'd personally enjoy it if they kept their promise to Laurel and had someone fill her shoes but not have them being called Black Canary. Maybe Canary Noir or The New Canary. And have a different suit designed for that character whilst having Laurel's costume put on display as inspiration for the team to never give up.

Black siren would be a good black canary, it would probably give a sense of self redemption from that bad stuff she did on her earth. Plus we wouldn't have to have some crazy explanation as to how earth 1 laurel came back to life, plus black siren is badass.

Either Earth 1 Laurel. Or Black Siren Laurel. No one else but Katie Cassidy. If they try to make a new Black Canary that isn't played by Katie Cassidy I will quit watching. I will continue watching your reactions but I will not be able to bring myself to watch the series.

I just prefer laurel remains dead and black canary remembered as a hero. Replacing her as black siren I wouldn't like cos it's not even her, just an evil version. Plus for once maybe someone stays dead instead of bringing everyone back lol

I'd most like to have Black Siren be Black Canary however, I'm waiting to see who this new girl actually is before I rule her out, she could end up being the most comic book accurate Canary yet (fishnets and all) her appearance in the show reminded me a lot of her introduction in All-Star Batman and Robin by Frank Miller

I think the mystery girl won't become Black Canary. Oliver was basically saying he just wanted someone to take her place (on the team). I think she'll become a different hero. Maybe Tigress?

Black canary would make more sense, and if that is talia al ghul they should stay away from that she is too close to batman. Arrow has a lot of good stories dont take from someone else. If u want batman then make batman

I vote for Black Siren, not because I don't like the "Earth-1 Laurel" option... but because of writing issues. Bringing back Earth-1 Laurel would exaggerate this stupid shenanigan even MORE, and demonstrate that the writers don't know what they want. Season-4 Laurel deserved to be the true Black Canary, but it is too late now. About Black Siren, her outfit and her metahuman nature would make her a very good Black Canary if she turned good at the end of season 5. Why not.

No One For Me Sara Is and Was Best Black Canary. I much liked Laurel best as her First 2 Season Laurel before the Whole Black Canary buisness.

As much as I want it to be earth-one Laurel, I doubt it will happen and I think the mystery girl has that I do what I want attitude that Black Canary has in the comics

I did not like Earth 1 Laurel as Black Canary, because they made her look weak. Then she became good, only for her last hurra. Black Seiren is strong and badass. Her embracing Black Canary would be a cool Story Arc. I also feel bad for Katie Cassidy. She should portrait Black Canary.

It should be black siren becoming Black canary the show didn't have enough storylines for Katie Cassidy And that's why she was killed off and now they have another mystery girl to play black canary why not just make Katie Cassidy black canary again it doesn't make sense so just make black siren become a good and be black canary
