Cinder cannot control anything telekinetically. Her semblance is creating/moving Glass around. As you can see in this episode she made glass out of the Ashes when Amber attacked her with fire.

I fucking love this episode because of the backstory and Cinder's amazing plan. I love how the episode starts out completely black with random snippets of voices for a few seconds. I really like that this episode was about everything before the show started and how Cinder's plan worked. I like that they explained that Emerald’s semblance is to make people see what she wants them to see. I find Mercury’s backstory interesting because it shows that he got his skills from his father who was an extremely skilled assassin. Between Emerald and Mercury I feel more badly for Mercury especially because he killed his father because his father was an abusive asshole. They both joined Cinder because of the kind of lives they had but while Emerald became a sycophant Mercury seems like he has his own reason for going along with her plans. I do feel bad for Emerald but I think she's going to meet a end because of how obsessed she is with Cinder and how much Emerald is under her control.
I love that Mercury was the one who suggested they go to a criminal to help with their plan which led them to Roman Torchwick. I also love that Roman's only line is trying to be charming toward Cinder. I love how Adam straight up says fuck off to Cinder’s request to work with the White Fang. I love how this takes place right before the Black trailer. I love how they catch Amber off guard with Emerald's semblance. Because her illusion depicted a younger version of herself I think was from her memory. I love the fight between Amber and Cinder's team because it is awesome and showed off what the power of a Maiden can do. I love that Amber's weapon is a staff with a Dust Crystal on both ends. I love how badass she was and I have to give it to Cinder, Emerald and Mercury for beating her though it took some underhanded strategy but they are bad guys and Cinder is completely evil. I also love how it’s revealed that Mercury's legs are mostly cybernetic.
It reminds me of automail from Fullmetal Alchemist. The power of the Maidens reminds me of the Avatar State from Avatar: The Last Airbender and the Phoenix from X-men. If only Amber had gone to finish Cinder off 1st she probably wouldn’t be half dead. I believe that the group protecting the maidens has after a long time of the maidens being safe gained a false sense of security since Qrow barely made it in time to stop Cinder from stealing all of the Fall Maidens power. Also it looked like Amber recognized that Grimm bug Cinder used. I love how they got Laura Bailey to voice Amber. I also love how this fight confirmed Cinder's Semblance is controlling things telekinetically like she did in the very 1st episode of the show. I like how it's shown in the episode why Blake and Qrow don't recognize Cinder, Emerald and Mercury.
Blake doesn't because she saw them from behind and Qrow doesn't recognize them because Emerald used her Semblance to make him see their faces blurred out before he got a good look at them. I also love the music during the fight scene. I'm glad they explained why Adam is is working with(for) Cinder because he was forced to. There are 3 things I like about Adam his voice, his sword and his loyalty to his cause. He was also offered supplies that the White Fang needs a lot of. I love how utterly menacing Cinder is. I have to give a hand to Cinder, Emerald and Mercury for their grade-A acting. I love how Mercury was hamming it up once they got in the ambulance and that Neo was flying it. I like the fact that they showed that 2 people is the limit of Emerald's Semblance. I am scared about just how dark the series is going to get and about what is going to happen to Yang. I love how both Neo and Emerald have Semblances related to illusions and I wouldn’t be surprised if Mercury's was too.
Neo’s illusions are still images whereas Emerald’s illusions are interactive. Also Neo’s Semblance can affect at least 4 people. They both can use their Semblance at a distance and a seemingly indefinite period of time. Also when they use their Semblances a similar but slightly different sound for each of them indicates when they start using their Semblance which is true for all Semblances. This episode also showed what kind of person Cinder is. All she wants is power and will do anything to get it. She has no problem with using physical or mental violence, fear, intimidation and manipulation. This is shown when she slaps Emerald for not knowing her place and how I think she got Mercury to join them.
She offered him cybernetic legs to replace his most likely permanently injured legs. I have some theories after watching this episode. The 1st is that the symbol on top of Cinder's white glow is related to some sort of Grimm God or Goddess Cinder is following and taking orders from. I think this is how she was able to use that Grimm bug to steal half of Amber's power. I also think whoever Cinder is following wants a Grimm invasion to wipe out humanity. My other theory is that Cinder is going to set up Pyrrha and Penny in the next one vs one fight. Finally I think Amber is somehow related to Cinder because they have same eye color. This might explain how she immediately knew Cinder was a threat.

My question is in every so called story one evil character always almost turns good. So which will turn back too the good side. Cinder, Adam, Or Will Cinders 2 Friends Switch Sdes when there plans are too wrong for them.

I thought Cinder's semblance is glass, because she's inspired by Cinderella, right?

Heels are not easy to walk in. I had to get size 13 heels with a 6 inch heel for a play. Killer on the calves.

I think that once you guys catch up to RWBY you should do a live chat with Patreon members in discord or something. You guys catch a few things here and there, but compared to other shows, RWBY seems to be one where you could use some help. I mean this in a positive way. Stuff like you not even questioning who Cinder seemed to be talking to and thanking. She said, "take back what is ours." So, Cinder is not the only villain. Also, it was emerald who made it look like cinder was teleporting. They can't make it any more obvious, there is a sound effect every time emerald uses her ability. That is the indication. The sound effect even happens all the way back when Emerald steals Roman's lighter. They also showed the villains from Qrow's perspective and all their faces were blurred. Emerald protected their identities. Anyway, i enjoyed the video, but there is no reason to be as confused as you are, im not saying catch everything, but i feel like now that the story is coming to a head you are regretting not diving deeper previously. The news report makes at least parts of her plan pretty obvious btw.

just to clarify a little bit: the proper term is "hallucination", an internal manipulation of the mind, that's Emerald. "Illusion" is an external manipulation, lights and shadow tricks, that's Neo

i think only ambers power as a maidien was the only thing that helped her break through emerald semblance but emerald still had a bleeding effect of it on her

yeah, cinder controls like ashes, during the prom night infiltration i think she turned her swords into ash and when ruby found her, she reconstructed them if i'm correct. the fire i think it's part of the maiden's power, and the running and disappearing thingy was due to emerald's semblance.

Im sad they didn't really think more about Cinder's dialogue after she stole the power. Pretty big implications there. I can't wait for episode 9-12, chapter 8 is good too but it's a bit of a break before y'know.... Things.

I was so sad this wasn't uploaded earlier today, but at least I work overnights so this appeared at the perfect time. Great reaction, guys. More and more will be revealed as the season goes on, just hold on tight, the best is yet to come!
