Great episode

Deluxe4arms

Not going to get into specifics, because spoilers. The LOK lore and ATLA lore fit very well together. And there's plenty of mysticism in it as well. I'll be in the Discord server for spoiler discussion if you want to get more into it. I'll have examples and counterpoints ready. My username is Minus.

musical brass hit sfx. Hit it again! brass hit. Hit it 2 times! 2 musical brass stabs. Hit it four more times! 4 brass hits

Next Episode!!!! It's happening!

Matthew Rudolph

I don't understand the necessity for a "midichlorians"-esque explanation. There -is- one in Legend of Korra, and it doesn't mix well with the lore established in Avatar: The Last Airbender. It's a mess! My personal preference is taking what this series said at face value and nothing more. That benders learned bending from animals and the moon. Let there be some mysticism!

The subject of inherit bending is quite confusing at this point, but don't worry, in the sequel series gets even more confusing ;Pīģŋ

Shipping Is Magic

I really like when Shane found the similarity between Zuko and Vegeta during the thunderstorm scene.

Matthew Rudolph

They JUST said they don't want spoilers in the comments.

Keep It Zen

guys you gotta watch korra after this because it goes into the back story of bending and the very 1st avatar

Spoilers: Their mother isn't a waterbender. Not to be rude

just FYI, the origin of bending ability itself is covered in The Legend of Korra (the sorta sequel series to this one), but you won't get a *clear* answer on that question in this series.

Jordan LeDoux

When did Calvin become John Wick?!

TheJediOtaku

In my opinion Sokka has a bending gene but in him that gene is recessive whereas in Katara the gene is dominant. Katara takes after her mother a bender while Sokka takes after his father a non-bender.

Warren Taylor

I'm not so sure about that Jordan. If two fire bending parents had a baby, I would not think the baby would grow up to be a water bender. Just doesn't seem logical in the Avatar world. But I do like the theory.

Nicholas Roca

Well You will see like Calvin says is correct advise because most things do have conclusions in the series. Not giving examples because that would be spoilers.

Skeletor

i alway thought they migrated there and just never returned leading to being a lost tribe of water benders

larsa valeth

I think everyone who has the "bending-gene" has the potential of learning any type of bending, like a baby has the potential of learning any language. It's just once they're older and have learned one they can't master another. They can learn the styles, like we can learn a new language, but it would never be perfect or true to origin. If that makes sense.

Jordan Brauer

I love that line. Part of me wanted Foo Foo Cuddly Poops to join the gang and become Sokka's animal partner 😋

Jordan Brauer

That is a spoiler ....................... To tell if things are going or are not going to happen, let them discover that, wtf.

Alexandre Boutin

Shane: "You know the answer?" Calvin: (stares at Shane in silence and smiles) xD

Lalisa Truong

The thing about you guys not wanting people to tell you things is that some things are just never explained and without any clues that might lead you to the explanation.

Supermonaman

Toph is the best character, I love her.

Trent Deuster

Bending isn't necessarily region-specific. Key example are the swampbenders near the World Tree.

musical brass hit sfx. Hit it again! brass hit. Hit it 2 times! 2 musical brass stabs. Hit it four more times! 4 brass hits

Just finished all my classes for the day ! So hyped to watch this reaction video! "Aang, this is my friend Foo Foo Cuddly Poops. Foo Foo Cuddly Poops, Aang."

Edward Moore

That day will be the day that nuts will be busted indeed 😂😂

I swear imma bust a nut the day it says 3x16 😩đŸ’Ļ🙌đŸŊ
