If forced to I would choose (and did choose in the poll) the balloon, at least with the balloon I can sit in the basket and not look down if someone else was steering the balloon. If I were on my own then at least the floor of the basket would provide an illusion of safety.

You have the benefits of stealth and being more in control with where you go and how you fly without heavily relying on fire as a source for momentum but rather air currents which are constant. Also its more portable than an balloon and it would be totally badass to just fly around all the time
