Hey folks!

Here's another sneak peek at the final Prince of Persia chapter. I'm almost done with the spicy bits and will be moving onto the closing scenes this weekend. I'm now confident that I can release this chapter by 15 July.

My apologies for the delay in getting this final part of the comic out. I definitely needed the break earlier this month. And now I'm crushing it! There's a lot more scenes in the final pack, but I wanted to give you guys a tiny taste of the red hot chili peppers! 🥵

As mentioned in this post, I'm digging through all of Jordan Mechner's production notes to make my comic as lore accurate as possible. He intended to make the meta-villain the "God of Serpents". I believe this is an esoteric reference to Shaitan or the Devil in Islamic myth.

Therefore, I'm illustrating how Jaffar's victory implies he'll insidiously start corrupting Persia away from Islamic precepts and towards the will of his mistress - The Witch. And through her, the Serpent would return to the Garden.

I also want to explore how the Princess marrying Jaffar will rob her of her soul. There is no redemption for her weakness - she will never see the face of Allah now that she allowed a heretic to sit on the throne.

This is the true Game Over - the bad ending that is hinted at if you fail to rescue the Princess.

Anyways, I'll be back with more sneak peeks in July. The spicy scenes were a lot of work, but I think they're some of my best! And I'm quite proud of the world-building I'm doing to add depth to this franchise.
