Low Down

Hey folks,

I wanted to drop you guys a line that I'm struggling a bit with this month's release. It's nothing serious - nothing bad has happened. It's just that I'm feeling a bit burned out and sluggish when it comes to rendering and writing this month's Prince of Persia chapter.

For those of you guys who dabble in 3D art, you'll know there's a lot of tedious steps to get a scene the way you want it. The motions are pretty repetitive and it can dull the brain if you do it too much. I think I'm suffering from a bit of tedium in trying to make my comic chapters just perfect every time. I'm also constantly working on future idea sets like Sin City and TTLG on the side.

But I still love doing it all. And when I try to take a break by playing video games or watching a movie, I always feel the call of my render rig. I can't live without the smut.

Ever since I quit my job and started doing this full-time, I've felt good about everything in life.

So what's the low down? I just wanted to let you guys know I might have to dig a week or so into July to get you the full and final Prince of Persia chapter. There's a lot of spicy scenes - which take the most effort to pose and render. It's a ton of work and I need to take my time with it to get it right, instead of feeling rushed.

This is totally a self-induced stressor. You guys have been nothing but great throughout the years!

I apologize for the delay and I thank you for your understanding. I'll try to get some energy back by balancing out my day with more exercise. And I'll definitely drop some more sexy previews as I make more progress in the following weeks.

Thanks again very much for the support, folks! I really appreciate you all. Cheers.

Thanks very much, friend. Totally agree. It's just a hobby I happened to monetize, so it'll only be viable if I enjoy it. I still do, but you're right - sometimes there is too much of a good thing. I just need to take my time with it when I'm feeling haggard, which I am now taking. Thanks again, man!

Dashole, the most important thing is to continue to enjoy creating your art. If you need to take a break every now and then to avoid burnout, the vast majority of people that follow your work, will be very much in favour. As soon as it becomes a chore, what is the point.

Thanks, man! I very much appreciate your patronage these many years.

Your finished product is always worth it so if it takes a little longer, then so be it. One has to feel inspired to deliver their best work and anyone can struggle with that from time to time. I look forward to the next instalment of PoP when it is released.
