"For Hate's Sake" DRAWING

Here is the tight drawing for this month's classic fantasy illustration. (Those of you who were at Illuxcon may recognize it!) I'm making good progress on the final and am hoping to have it finished for a Muddycolors post on Tuesday.

Some of you may point out, 'hey didn't you just start this thing?' And well yes I did, and I have been staying up til 3 and drinking 6 cups of coffee for a few days here. (This isn't the first time a Muddycolors post has been the catalyst for me going crazy to finish a painting. Half the time my scheduled post sneaks up on me and it is an absolute panic in the days beforehand to get my act together and make something worth looking at and reading...)

Anyway, I will be sharing another progress pic of the digital underpainting here tomorrow and plan to have the high-res final painting up for you Tuesday! *Fingers crossed*
