I will make this joke every year and I'm not sorry about it.
Here's a quick little update to start the year since I'm making a couple of changes.
Commission consolidation and pricing
It was inevitable but my prices have increased. The tl;dr: cost of living is way up, it's not getting better any time soon, and I was already working at around minimum wage before things started to get real bad. I hate having to do it as I don't like the idea of pricing people out of being able to afford art from me, but in the end I have to do what's best for me too.
I've added a few additional clauses to my Terms of Service to offer the option of partial payment plans in an attempt to keep my art accessible for as many people as I can. Hope y'all understand, I'm trying my best to find solutions β€οΈ
Rendered vs Painted: What's the difference?
My commission types have also become more compact. I realised over the past year that my "rendered line art" commissions were basically at the same quality as my painted commissions, with a very similar style, taking a similar amount of time to finish. So I've merged them into one commission type: Painted/Rendered.
This new category will adopt the Painted pricing to better reflect the work I put in. Pornographic content is still unavailable for this tier, however I am quite happy to do general nudity at this level of detail now. :)
Symmetry Portraits
Again these have gradually changed over the years and have become a little more detailed than they once were, and I've found a much more enjoyable workflow for them in the form of painting. So my symmetry portraits going forth will be "Painted Symmetry Portraits" and have had their price slightly increased to better reflect the work that goes into them.
I'm still open to doing stylistic takes on these like my earlier versions (where I played with strong shadows and shimmering lighting effects), but they will still be painted like the default ones. Backgrounds are still included in the pricing and will also be painted similarly to the portrait itself, props and all.
When flat colour isn't flat
My flat colour commissions now include shadows and a bit of extra light rendering/effects. I feel comfortable pushing more detail into these types of commissions as I've gotten much quicker at it.
The rest
The rest of my commission types remain mostly in tact with marginal price increases (minus character sheets which stays roughly the same as it was). Backgrounds have moved away from set pricing and will instead be given as a quote based on your description.

Terms of Service
I've updated my terms of service. Nothing major changes here outside of payment options (I can offer Stripe as an option now), Twitter being removed as a point of communication (Email and Discord ONLY now), some buyer's pointers in terms of rude behavior/abuse and blacklisting, and a few changes to the NSFW section (some kinks have been removed from the 'wont draw' sectionπ). Patron Tier Changes and Naming
There's no content changes to the tiers as I did that only a short while ago and I'm quite happy with where they're at for the time being. However I am renaming them! They'll be moving away from Guild Wars/charr and instead toward whatever the heck I want. I don't want my outward 'brand' or identity to be heavily associated with the franchise anymore - it's that shrimple. Enjoy the inevitable chee-related names when I get around to it.

I have a pair of YCHs planned with a number of slots as part of each of them. I wont go too much into them as I'm still figuring them out but they'll feature Vae and Vateo respectively. Here's the file names as a hint:
This is me testing the waters of the YCH world. It could be a miserable failure with little interest, or it could be the complete opposite. Wont know till I try :D
Blender and 3D
It's been on The List for a long time now, and now that I'm actually somewhat healthy, I think I ought to give it a proper shot. I've got the resources and tools, I just need to sit down and do it. Watch this space?

Thanks for all the support throughout 2023! It was a tough year for me but I got through it with the help of y'all, especially my close friends and partner who kept me sane when everything seemed wrong - I love y'all, you know who you are π«΅
I'm not aiming for this year to necessarily be BIGGER AND MORE PRODUCTIVE than the last but rather a reflective year working toward bettering myself, my art, and taking steps to broaden my horizons.
