Between Heaven and Earth, I Alone Am The One Squished Between Softies: Origins III

(Third Person POV)

[Still in The Flashback]

Kiryu got out of the black SUV that had escorted him to the meeting place he had with his cousin. The young boy was followed by the servant girl who had bumped into Toji Zenin earlier. 

"Uhm." The servant said as Kiryu patted his pants, "Where is Young Master Satoru?" 

Kiryu looked at her, "I don't know." He said, "You're the one who said this was where he was." 

"Yes, but I don't see him..." She said, "And you can trace his Cursed Energy, can you not?" 

Kiryu blinked, "Ah." He said, "That's true..." 

The servant girl looked at him as they both stood on the sidewalk, in front of what looked like a cafe in the middle of the city. 

"Young Master?" She said as she noted that Kiryu was lost in a trance as he looked at her, "Is everything okay?" 

"Hm?" Kiryu snapped out of it, "Oh, yea. He's inside the cafe. Let's go, Mui." 

Mui frowned as the boy walked forward, "T-That was strange...." She said as she followed

A couple of minutes later, they were inside the Cafe, it was a regular-looking establishment, with several tables and chairs where coffee and tea were being served to customers. There was, however, a section where there were couches. 

It was there where Kiryu had made his way towards, looking for his cousin. 

"Oh." Kiryu said as Mui walked behind him, "Look at that, he's there." 

He stopped in front of the couch where a young Satoru Gojo sat, eating a piece of cake. He was wearing dark sunglasses as he had a school uniform on. Behind the couch, there were two men in suits, bodyguards by the looks of it. 

"Oh~!" Satoru smirked as he looked at Kiryu, "Cousin~!!" 

"What's up?" Kiryu asked as he crossed his arms

"Want cake?" Satoru offered

"Of course I do." Kiryu replied

"Coffee?" Satoru asked

"I'm a kid." Kiryu replied

"Juice then." Satoru said

"Chocolate milk, obviously." Kiryu retorted

"Of course." Satoru said as he looked at Mui, "Mui-chan~ Get the Heir some cake and choco milk~" 

"Hey." Kiryu frowned, "She's mine to order around. Mui, please get me some cake and choco milk."

Mui bowed slightly, "Of course, Young Master." She said, "Young Master Satoru, would you like something else?" 

"Hey." Kiryu protested

"I'm okay~" Satoru smiled

Mui then walked away as Kiryu watched her. 

"So." Kiryu said looking back at Satoru, "What do you want?" 

Satoru patted the spot next to him, "Sit sit!" He said excitedly

Kiryu then walked over to him and sat down next to him on the couch, "What is it?" 

Satoru leaned in, "Guess what?" He said

"Spill it out already..." Kiryu said

"I got us hooked up with the new Nintendo Consoles, what do you say?" Satoru whispered, "The new ones are being released later this year. I can get it for us wayyyy earlier." 

Kiryu frowned, "This is what you called me all the way here for?" He said, "What the hell...." 

"Hehehe~" Satoru chuckled, "Let's be honest, Kiryu~ You want them, don't you?" 

"How much?" Kiryu said seriously

Satoru noticed that despite his first remark, Kiryu was more than interested in the consoles. No matter how prestigious his blood is, a boy's desire for gaming would never be taken away. 

"I'll take care of the price." Satoru said, "Of course, I'll ask Uncle for some money. However, we have a little problem." 

Kiryu frowned, "What?" 

"The warehouse where the Nintendo Official keeps them was overtaken by some low-level Curses." Satoru said, "I would call Jujutsu High for them to help, but knowing those guys, they might end up taking the consoles for themselves." 

"They wouldn't....." Kiryu said, "I won't let them!" 

"Which is why, Cousin." Satoru said, "It is our Duty to exorcise those Curses....." 

"And take the Consoles for ourselves."

[Back to Yuki and Choso]

Choso blinked, "D-Did Kiryu tell you that part?" He asked her

Yuki nodded as she chuckled, "Both he and Satoru did." She said, "I think it was adorable. Two young boys willing to fight Curses solely for the fact that they stand in the way of their games. It's truly befitting of those two." 

"I didn't take Kiryu to be that type of man." Choso said, "Satoru, maybe, but not the Head." 

Tengen spoke up, "The Head of The Gojo Clan, Kiryu, used to be a carefree lad. A young boy filled to the brim with freedom." They said, "He and Satoru were alike in that regard, always doing what they wished. There was no trace of malice or seriousness in them back then. It was only when he was given the burden of Head when he became much more serious." 

Yuki nodded, "Yes." She said, "I wish I could've met him when he was an adorable little boy like that. But I met him as a young man, forced to mature due to the circumstances. It was Satoru who didn't mature that much." 

"Those two must've gotten along great," Choso said

"They did." Yuki smiled, "From what Shoko tells me, they were inseparable. When Satoru and Suguru were the Dynamic Duo from back then, Kiryu would often tag along their missions without permission. Nobody told the Shining Star of Destruction anything. He was there when the incident with the Star Plasma Vessel happened."

"Kiryu has a bigger presence in the Jujutsu World than what he would like to admit."
