LSTM 26 : Ambushed!

Within just a short span of a few days, many things happened between Shigure and Noah, they got closer than before, at least now they are used to each other’s presence. However no one other than Akisame knows their relationship because it’s better to be a secret, for now, this was suggested by Akisame, he knows that it would be troublesome if everyone in the Ryōzanpaku.

Although some of the masters were suspicious of their sudden change of behavior with each other, none of them pointed it out, because everyone had their secrets.

Noah, Miu, and Kenichi are walking toward their school, during these past few days they noticed the changes in Noah because from what they know about him, he would always have that apathetic expression on his face, however, these days, they could often him smiling slightly, which is very shocking for both of them, though they don’t know what happened to their friend it must be something good or else they wouldn’t see him act like this.

A moment after, they arrived at the school gate but as soon as they step inside the school gate, all of sudden they were surrounded by thug looking people, because of this Kenichi and Miu became alert, while Noah was indifferent to this situation mainly because he knows that they will be okay especially when Miu is here. She’s a genuine High-Class Disciple after all, so a few thugs were nothing to her, and that is the same for Noah who is nearing becoming a Mid-Class Disciple this was nothing, but as for Kenichi...it would be a very bad situation to him.

“You guys! Why are you blocking our way?” Miu pointed her finger at the people who were blocking them.

“That's right!” Kenichi went along with Miu.

While Noah stayed silent, he wasn’t an idiot for this was already obvious, they were after him. These people wouldn’t just appear out of nowhere without a reason, then he thought ‘These guys are Kisara’s lackeys and I'm 100% percent of it, some of the people here look similar to their anime counterparts..’

Then a guy that looked similar to Raditz from Dragon ball approached them, then he pointed his fingers at Noah and exclaimed. “Why?! It's because I got ordered to bring that foreigner to Kisara! You two get out of the way if you don’t want to get involved!”

After knowing their reason for blocking their way, instead of leaving they were even determined to stay. They were not someone who abandons their friend in a state of crisis, Miu and Kenichi put a stance they wanted to protect him!

“So that’s the reason why you're blocking us! But I'm afraid we won’t abandon our friend! Right, Kenichi?!” Miu looked at Kenichi with a smile.

“That's right! We won’t go away! If you want to take him then you have to go through us!” Even though he said those bold words, his expression wasn’t, he’s scared but even so, he had to protect his only male friend!

Miu's smile bloomed, she was right about him, he wasn’t someone who would abandon his friend, unknowingly she became attracted to him without her realizing, then there is Noah who was being protected by his ‘friends’ his expression couldn’t be more complicated. Although he was touched by their action of protecting him, at the same time he was cringed by their words. He was embarrassed for them, but he can’t really say that to their face because he doesn’t want to hurt their feelings, can’t they realize how embarrassing their words are to him?

He did his best to ignore what his friends were saying, then the long-haired dude was annoyed by them. “I gave you guys a chance to run away, but you didn’t cherish it! Men! Beat them up!”

After hearing his command, everyone by his side immediately dashes toward them with their bare fist, their expectation of this battle is a one-sided massacre whoever in reality almost all of them are in the ground unconscious due to Miu, kick it wasn’t light at all and Kenichi beat up few thugs himself but didn’t get out unscratched but despite that, he was glad that he could help Miu beating these days.

Noah didn’t move because he knows they are enough to beat them, also he wanted to know how much progress Kenichi had, from what he could see his progress is more or less the same with the anime, is this also part of his plot armor? But either way compared to him, his progress is as slow as snail, after all, he still had a lot to go until he became a Low-Class Disciple.

The dude with long hair was surprised by the scene in front of him. He never thought that a cute girl and a weak-looking boy could defeat his men rather easily, but then he grinned and said. “You guys are strong! I admit that but you are not as strong as me! Rejoice for I man amongst men will fight against you two!”

From the perspective of Miu and Noah, this guy was an utter idiot while in Kenichi’s case, he somehow believed that this guy was strong if he’s confident of challenging Miu.

“Idiot,” Noah spoke bluntly.

“Huh?! Are you talking about me?!”

“Obviously, who else was it? The air?” Noah mocked him,

Hearing that he immediately got offended, he doesn’t like anyone to call him an ‘idiot’, but in reality, he is, he just doesn't want to admit it, veins appeared on his forehead, and was about to tackle Noah.

Then Noah secretly opened his live stream, after he turned it on another group of people arrived, he wasn’t surprised, he somewhat expected her to show up!

Kisara Nanjō! The leader of this group of delinquents and one of the future Valkyrie of Ragnarok!

“Tsuji! Stop your attempt, that's an order!” Kisara glared at him.

Tsuji is the name of the long hair dude, as he heard Kisara’s words, he glared back at her with anger. “Kisara! You have no right to order me! I only followed your order before because I want to try fighting that foreigner!”

He didn’t follow her orders, and continued to approach Noah so that he could beat him till he takes back his word that he isn’t an idiot!

“So you’re going to defy me?” Kisara coldly stared at Tsuji.

“Ha! So what if I am?!” Tsuji said as he continued to walk toward Noah’s location, however, as he was about to arrive all of sudden. Kisara kicked his head immediately, making Tsuji faint.

“Eh? Aren’t they supposed to be in the same group?”

“Oi, oi person from above are you blind or something? Didn’t you see that Tsuji dude didn’t listen to her orders?! I guess the leader of that group.”

“Ohh! Ohh! She’s finally here! Kisara Nanjō! My waifu! UP don’t you dare to treat her like those guys from before or else I’ll immediately unsubscribe!”

“That’s right! I would do the same!”

Noah didn’t pay much attention to the comment section, though he did read some but didn’t care, still, he was surprised by her action of attacking Tsuji without hesitation, but then again he benefited from her act of making Tsuji faint, it would save him even if it’s just little.

He looked at the time on his phone, he said. “One minute….”

Kisara heard him and replied. “Huh?”

“One minute is enough for me to defeat you.”

“HUH? Oi aren’t you cocky one foreigner?” Kisara glared at him with an angry expression.

“Cocky? Not really I'm confident of beating you in one minute” He looked at Kisara with an indifferent expression.

Kisara got offended by his sentence, she was underestimated by a man! This was something that she loathed the most, the reason why she wanted to become strong is to prove that a woman can be stronger than a man.

“I see...at first I was just curious about the guy who beat my technique trio but now knowing you personally...you're the kind of man I hate the most, just because I’m a woman it doesn’t mean you can underestimate me!” Kisara angrily glared at him, as if she wanted to eat him alive.

Hearing her sentence, Noah couldn’t help but realize that she misunderstood his words, he wasn’t underestimating her because she’s a woman, it was because he knew the difference between them, but seeing her current state no matter what he says, she wouldn’t listen he was sure of that.

His only choice is to beat her in one minute so that she would know he wasn’t joking.
