Chapter 67 : Meeting?

What he saw was ButterflySword aka modern Shinobu sent a picture of a mansion that has a pretty similar style to his, however he knows that it wasn't his but this mansion was just near his!

He saw this once, it was located at the same subdivision as him! Then he saw her messaging in the group chat.

ButterflySword : "I finally arrived in Tokyo! The mansion in the picture, I'll be temporarily staying there!"

FlowerGirl : "Nice! You finally arrived I really want to tag along, but too bad I have something to do in college! Urghhh! I want to have a vacation in Tokyo! 😩😩"

Kyle decided to reply.

Kai-kun : "Wait, you're here in Tokyo? I didn't know about this!"

FlowerGirl : "Oh, that's natural it wasn't planned and only me and her family knows about this."

ButterflySword : "That's right! Hey Kai-kun if I remember correctly you live in Tokyo right? Wanna meet offline? I want someone to guide me in Tokyo and you're a good candidate, besides you I don't know anyone in Tokyo!"

Kyle was a bit surprised by this, he thought. 'Isn't she trusting me too much? Though we became close, it doesn't change the fact I'm basically a stranger to her.'

He replied.

Kai-kun : "Sure, but aren't you trusting me too much?"

ButterflySword : "This may sound weird, but I have this feeling that I can trust you. I know it doesn't make sense but even in the chat I feel comfortable chatting with you."

Kai-kun : "What kind of logic is that? Don't tell me you fell in love with me?!"

He teased this internet friend of his, then this person immediately replied.

ButterflySword : "Stop dreaming, that won't happen ever."

FlowerGirl : "I'm actually the same as her thought, for some reason I could trust you."

Kai-kun : "😱 Don't tell me you're in love with me too?!"

FlowerGirl : "No way, why would I fall in love with a stranger that I haven't met personally?"

Kai-kun : "That makes sense alright. I'll accept being your guide tomorrow. It is Saturday which is a holiday for me, so I'm pretty free since I don't have any plans for that day."

ButterflySword : "Great! Then where are we going to meet? And what time?"

Kai-kun : "What about now?"

FlowerGirl : "?"

ButterflySword : "Huh? Why?"

Kai-kun : "Let me explain, the picture you just sent is actually very close to my place, I'm guessing that right now we are just a few hundred meters from each other, this is such a coincidence that I'm living in the same subdivision as you now."

Near the mansion where Kyle was currently living, Shinobu was surprised to know that this only friend of hers is actually very close to her right now!

"What the? Is he saying the truth? If he is then what a surprising coincidence..!"

She started to tap in her phone and replied.

ButterflySword : "Really?! I didn't know you were rich!"

Kai-kun : "Damn! What kind of reply is that? But hey I didn't know you were also rich, I thought you were working at a shrine to make money?"

ButterflySword : "Huh?! What gave you an idea that I'm working at a shrine to earn money?! I'm only working there because it's my family business!"

Kai-kun : "So you're telling me that your family owns the God of Delivery Shrine?"

ButterflySword : "Yes, that is correct."

Kai-kun : "So your last name is Kocho?"

ButterflySword : "That's right."

Kai-kun : "I see, now everything makes sense, so basically you're Kocho Shinobu the current head of the God of Delivery Shrine?"

ButterflySword : "I wasn't really trying to hide that fact, yes I am."

Kai-kun : "So what about you FlowerGirl you're also a Kocho?"

FlowerGirl : "Yes, since my cousin told you her identity then I don't mind telling mine, I'm Kocho Kanae."

Kyle was a bit surprised by their revelation, he didn't expect that his chat friends online are actually his first ? This kind of coincidence is not normal; it was as if someone above was pulling the strings.

He doesn't feel good about this, but he forcefully convinces himself that he's just imagining things.

Kai-kun : "So anyway, do you still want to meet?"

ButterflySword : "Alright, let's do it I'm somewhat nervous."

Kai-kun : "Hey, I'm the same this is my first time meeting a friend online, though I know exactly who you are and your appearance since you're somewhat famous in japan."

ButterflySword : "I'm not that famous, I can't be compared to popular idols."

Kai-kun : "You're actually complaining?"

ButterflySword : "Nah, you're just imagining things, get over here already."

Kai-kun : "I'm on my way."

While chatting in the group chat, Kyle walked to the mansion that Shinobu is supposed to be staying at.

After a few minutes of walking, he finally arrived at the place, then he saw her looking at her phone probably texting something in the group chat.

Seeing Shinobu he couldn't help but feel complicated, he knows that she wasn't the original one but he couldn't help but feel a bit nostalgic, she is like a carbon copy of the original Shinobu, however the vibes she had is nowhere similar to the original Shinobu, the present Shinobu gives off a modern normie vibes.

The way she wears her outfit, is like those rich jk girls around Tokyo, he thought. 'Wasn't she supposed to be wearing Yukata or something? Since she's from Kyoto..but this she's no different from Tokyo girls, whatever it isn't important anymore.'

Kyle approached Shinobu, and said. "Yo! I'm here."

Shinobu immediately raised her head, and she saw him, she asked. "Kai-kun?"

"Yep that's me, also please call me Kyle."

"Oh, then nice to meet you Kyle, you look better than I expected." Both of them did a handshake.

"And you're a lot shorter than I expected."

Shinobu grip tightens, and smiles creepily. "What did you say? I can't hear you."

She was actually very sensitive to her height, because no matter what she did her height wouldn't just change, as if it was a curse and no medicine could hope to cure it.

"I misspoke, I mean you're taller than I expected."

Shinobu's creepy smile disappeared. "Good."

This was the first meeting between him and Shinobu's descendance.
